    TVS in Bleeding PV

    Hi everyone.<div>

    I’m currently a second year radiology resident

    I wanted to ask, how comfortable would you feel performing a TVS in a patient that presents with third trimester bleeding? Suppose there’s a case with posterior placenta, or there’s just no good window for a TAS for adequate evaluation, or I’m unable to find a cause for the bleeding – I do believe the transvaginal approach would yeild more info.

    (My institutional preference is to avoid TVS in bleeding patients)
