issues with credentialing; any advice,ideas welcomed. thanks
Hi guys need some guidance. I am a recent grad and am have been awaiting a full time perm gig start that is taking some time to credential. I have been applying for locums opportunities in the meantime, but having some difficulty given I did residency in 2 diff programs and had a gap. I successfully completed the program, and am just looking for any tips/advice on best ways to overcome getting red flagged/rejected at hospital credentialing meetings from the Jump due to having to always explain my gap. It seems this is worse at hospitals than standalone imaging centers? I know I am going to have to always explain things on paperwork and applications, but am I forever doomed or is there a way I can get a chance? If anyone has any advice or how to help me I greatly appreciate it.
