Any suggestions for radiology jobs for near retiree who doesn’t want to read studies and prob lapsed in medical licensing anyways. Maybe even good non-radiology jobs?

Would love to know as well. Mid career and kinda sick of the grind. Would love to do almost anything else.

Are you interested in traveling at all?

I would think a retiring radiologist would be super well equipped to teach anatomy at a local university/college/CC. Depending on how many sessions you teach it seems like a nice way to keep busy, add value to the world, but still have good hours.

Insurance companies need doctors that do pre-insurance health exams. I was applying for Term life insurance recently and they sent out a doctor to draw blood, do a general exam, ask me a lot of questions/clinical history, etc.

He was previously a radiologist, now semi-retired.

I talked to him and he enjoyed the local travel, easy M-F hours, decent pay, easy responsibilities and NO MALPRACTICE!
