    Image sharing applications

    When it comes to image sharing is every place just having to have a multitude of image sharing apps/devices? or…VPN’s?  Eg…for sites A, B, and G, they use Ambra. Sites C and F uses Life Image. Sites D and E us Nuance. We are just getting into this at our org and it seems like sites  we would want to exchange images with have more than one application they have to deal with because everyone uses something different. So if I want to send something to site B, I better have an Ambra gate way set up. Some products are so poor that I’d rather download a CD any day then try to save images to my PC and then load to my PACS.
