    ED Discrepancies

    Hello, we are a Synapse PACS, Cerner EHR, RadNet RIS shop. We currently have no good way to log/track/report discrepancies between the ED Reads at night and when the rad finalizes the read the next day. Right now, we are using a very basic e-mail the ED director when a discrepancy occurs but that’s where it ends. We would really like a software or workflow, preferably with tiger text that will allow the rad to mark the discrepancy, make sure the proper ED doc gets the feedback and then closes the loop so it can be tracked. Just wondering what other health systems are doing and what seems to work best.
