  • IR technologists salary

Posted by baeboorin_672 on December 27, 2009 at 4:43 pm

I recently heard from somebody that IR techs can now make up to $48hr full time.  I’m not quite sure if this is the case since the last time I check max was around $36hr full time.

Maybe that’s OT pay.  I work in IR and CCL and make NOWHERE near that.  If it is true, I need to know where to go looking, the blue light special is over!lol.  36 an hour may be for years of experience (or again the OT rate of time and a half.)

There are IR R.T.’s that have made over 300k in one year.  That was in Northern California and they worked a whole lot of overtime.

As far as Cath Lab Technologists at the hospital that I work they hit the celling @ $44hr
Hospital is a level 1 trauma center in San Bernardino County California
So as a senior R.T. they could stand to make 130k with only working an average of 20 hrs of overtime + stand by pay for 48 weeks out of the year.
