Rush University Medical Center Division of Vascular & Interventional Radiology is currently accepting applications for our[i][b] Advanced VIR Fellowship[/b][/i] at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago IL, for the [b]2023-2024 academic year.[/b]
This one-year non-acgme Advanced training is open to candidates who have completed VIR training, those who wish to gain experience prior to Independent residency and those interested in post-training advanced exposure in VIR.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop/improve their skills in management of Complex CLI/CLTI cases including DVA’s, Aortic pathologies, complex Interventional oncology cases including Fibrolamellar HCC, Central venous & Ilio-caval recanalizations and Complex filter retrievals, amongst other procedures.
The design of the specific schedule can vary based on the accepted candidates needs, with adjustable time in procedures, IR clinic, Wound Care Clinic, Clinical research, and Electives such as Vascular surgery & NeuroInterventional specialties. Based on experience, functioning as a clinical instructor is possible.This position includes all appropriate housestaff compensation and benefits packages at a PGy-7 level. [b][i] [/i][/b]
