Just apply broadly. You need at least 14 to 15 interviews to be mathematically ok.

that was the plan! Whats a couple more thousand on top of the 100s of thousands of debt I have already haha just wanted to see if it was even worth applying and if I should apply to a backup specialty

Am I missing something. 239 step 1 or 2 score would be guaranteed match somewhere back in the day?
-
239 is about 30th percentile nationally for step 2. Even lower percentile for radiology applicants.

Radiology was a total bloodbath in the match this year. It is only going to get more competitive. 239 is fine, you can match with it, but it’s not a guarantee.

I appreciate the advice everyone! I’m really buckling down on research and finding really good letter writers as these are the only things I can change at this point. Unfortunately, I’ve never been the top of the class kind of student despite studying as much as I can. I do plan to dual apply just in case. Any other advice for boosting my application would be greatly appreciated! Also tips for virtual interviews would be great too!
