Transferring Programs
Does anyone know of a good resource for transferring programs if ones current program is not a great fit? More for personal reasons than the program itself. To clarify, I mean outside of the match. All the resources Ive heard of in the past seem antiquated. Has anyone had any luck with residency swap? Are there other resources for open positions? Or are people still posting here? Thanks in advance.

there isn’t one. transfers are very rare and the reason needs to be much better than “personal reasons”

I know someone who did it. She cold-emailed all the PDs in her desired city and kept in touch with them after. A spot happened to open up and she was able to get an interview.
