  • Supporting a separate teaching PACS system

Posted by QCman on September 17, 2020 at 5:11 am

    Hello

Does anyone having recommendations for setting up a stand along image storage system, just for teaching files?
We have a request to stand up a image storage system independent from the existing clinical system
Any thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated

Most PACS can establish teaching files within them and have the database etc. to address this. Some can provide DICOM anonymiztion as well.
If you care to export the teching files to another system you can do that as well.

I would use Conquest, open source, bare bones, but extremely easy to set up, or you should really use MIRC, you can put it in a VM and allow people web access and have access to many RSNA teaching files.
