  • RECIST question: how to deal with lesions that are stable under 10 mm?

Posted by pbernard_996 on April 12, 2023 at 3:44 am

RECIST says that lesions under 10 mm are not measurable disease.

Lets say there is an index lesion that was 4 cm, got treated, and has now been stable at 5 mm on a surveillance scan, but never completely disappears.

Is this stable disease (lesion is still present even though it is below the 10 mm threshold for being measurable) or complete response (since it did not disappear completely?)

    Thanks!
