  • Quick opinion needed!

    Hi all,

My nephew is applying to medical school right now and is on a waitlist at his top choice. They allow letters of intent, meaning where you can express a school is your top choice. The school mentioned you can really submit anything. He visited the school a few months ago and happened to take a picture on campus, would it be overkill or set him apart to submit this photo with the the letter of intent just to show serious interest?

Keep in mind people that were not traveling for interviews during Covid so hes thinking maybe this will be unique.

Any thoughts, send or leave off? I guess this q may be especially pertinent to some of you med students that may have served on your medical school admission committees but any opinions welcome!

    TIA!

    I claim no expertise.

But as long as it comes off as sincere, go for it.
