MRI shows brain changes from cannabis use
Posted by Unknown Member on December 6, 2020 at 5:07 amOf course, cannabis can cause changes in the brain, this is obvious. This is the reason why you should cancel it at an early stage and in any form. I know that many people talk about the benefits of cbd oil, but more than one scientist has refuted this myth. cannabis has the ability to destroy the body. If you have any symptoms that would require taking cannabis, then why not replace it with kratom. If you have a question [style=”color: #000000;”][link=https://kratommystic.com]where can I buy kratom[/link][/style], you can contact me for advice and I will help you with this issue

1) Why are we starting threads on articles from two years ago?
2) One or two joints alters gray matter volume. LOOOOOL!
3) This article really needed 35 co-authors?-
This is some seriously silly sht: Studies have shown that adolescents who use marijuana just once or twice experience brain changes that show up on MRI compared with individuals who do not use cannabis. This indicates that cannabis may not be completely harmless, especially for some individuals.

“Brain changes?” That show what exactly? fMRI has shown what? Altered behavior compared to the control group? A need to snack?
This is silly. Cannabis use has not shown the downfall of civilization or business of anything. Elon was smoking while being interviewed. His MRI will show us how we can become successful zillionaires?-

Not that I think Musk is an addict but not unheard of for high-functioning/talented addicts to perform while under the influence. With that said, can’t imagine Cannabis being any more harmful than alcohol. Eliminating alcohol would probably cut down HC costs by at least 10-15% if not more-
My point being, cannabis causes changes in MRI scans is about as vague a remark as is possible as as a stand alone observation is “so what” devoid of useful conclusions. It’s a psychotropic for 1 thing. As for changing MRI scans, I’d wager a number of common drugs would do that, like alcohol. Most can imbibe without abusing alcohol. The question is what does “changes” mean which the OG article has no damned idea. A lot of “maybe this, maybe that.”
As for “eliminating,” I’d prefer keep alcohol & eliminate tobacco and watch the positive changes in HC costs.-
For “academic” [8|] purposes, here’s the study.

“We identified extensive regions in the bilateral medial temporal lobes as well as the bilateral posterior cingulate, lingual gyri, and cerebellum that showed greater GMV in the cannabis users.”-
… also “almost 35% of American 10th graders have reported using cannabis”
There’s no way this is true. That’s probably off by an order of magnitude. Maybe college kids but 10th grade is pretty early.-

I knew it. ‘This is your brain, this is your brain on marijuana’ was documentary !
Reefer madness.
I haven’t read the study, but it sounds like your typical psychiatric imaging study, or ‘false color phrenology’ as I call it. Chances are they are detecting a pre-existing deformity that predisposes one to addiction behavior, not a change caused by the drug. Now we [u]do[/u] know that enough THC does damage to the developing brain, but every pot-dummy I grew up with used the stuff by the bale. So who knows, maybe the good **** they are selling now causes the brain shrinkage after a only a few puffs.-
If there really is a difference in grey matter volume between the two groups after one or two joints it was there before the joints. The next study will be loss of grey matter in kids who think about smoking pot.
