  • Looking for a Dicom Header Editor that works with Windows 10

Posted by MDoc83 on April 5, 2021 at 7:14 am

Looking for a Dicom Header Editor that works with Windows 10. We have used Dicomworks for years to edit incorrect Dicom Headers in our PACS system but since we upgraded to Windows 10, that no longer works. What does everyone else use? Thanks.

Did you try installing Dicomworks in compatibility mode?
That should get you by for a while.

I am working as a PACS developer.
If you are still looking for a solution to this, please let me know, I can make a program for this with a simple user interface.

my go to header editor is dcmodify part of the DCMTK tool kit . Its command line but it’s very nearly infallible and extremely fast . Probably wouldn’t take much to whip up a simple gui for it. I’ve always used it from cli though with for loops . You can find the toolkit at [link]https://dicom.offis.de[/link] .
