• Fuji v5 BEWARE

Posted by madeleine_jye_81 on January 30, 2019 at 8:21 am

Any one upgrading to Fuji v5 from v4.x, be advised. The system is (currently) only configured to use your original versions/copies of exams. If for example you keep a clinical (compressed) version within the system (normally for a prior comparison), but purge or move the original to an external archive or VNA, Fuji will ignore the clinical/compressed version and try to Q/R the original from where they are stored. You can imagine how this kills workflows for a Radiologist trying to view prior exams that have to be Q/R. Especially, for patients with a lengthy history of exams..

I know this is an old thread, but I’m told that with Fuji PACS 5.7 the clinical versions are back in play.  Can someone confirm this?

Worth noting as well that this limitation is not present if the rads are using the 4.4.360 client instead of the 5.5 viewer.
