The True First Day of the Post-Trump Era
Bidens pre-inaugural January was dominated by Trump, who incited a mob of supporters to sack the Capitol and was impeached by the House.
Bidens first weeks in office in late January and February were dominated by Trump, who at the White House was the target of dozens of Biden executive actions meant to reverse his policies on immigration, climate, health care and several other areas, and in Congress was the subject of the Senate trial
Fittingly, on Presidents Day, Biden, who returns to the White House from Camp David this afternoon, finally gets to be president.-
Dan Bonjourno has a segment where he’s complaining about Joe Biden not working and playing Mario Cart with his grand daughter. Beyond parody from a Trump sycophant.

Biden Already Hitting the Battleground States
[link=https://time.com/5940263/president-biden-relief-plan-battleground-states/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+timeblogs%2Fswampland+%28TIME%3A+Politics%29]Time[/link]: The trips also reveal a longer-term strategy, advisers and strategists say. Presidential travel during the pandemic takes on greater meaning when large parts of the country have effectively been in lockdown for a year and public safety guidelines must be strictly adhered to. In selecting two of the most critical battleground states, hes using his political capital to tell the voters that helped send him to the White House how hes delivering on his campaign pledges and why they should stick with Democrats in elections to come.
Said Democratic Strategist Jim Margolis: Its no accident that Wisconsin and Michigan are the first two trips for Biden. They were must-win states in 2020, have big elections in 2022 and will undoubtedly be in the electoral bullseye again in 2024.

Joe Biden is just where he wanted to be

Now Biden comes to the country in the role in which he is most comfortable: empathetic for their struggles, sharing their grief and eager to bring as much government resources as possible to bear. Its a moment for the kind of old-fashioned, bighearted, big-walleted Democrat Biden always wanted to be.
A year from now, chances are that the pandemic will be largely behind us and the economy will be in recovery, and Biden will point to the relief bill as a big reason for that. Even if that will be a drastic oversimplification, Democrats have learned that you dont gain anything by failing to take credit when good things happen.…
Once this bill passes, Biden faces an uncertain road Democrats will be able to pass [link=https://www.brookings.edu/blog/up-front/2021/02/05/what-is-reconciliation-in-congress/]just one more[/link] reconciliation bill this year, leaving much of his legislative agenda in doubt as long as they allow themselves to be imprisoned by the filibuster. But for the moment, hes just where he wanted to be: bestowing aid on the public in towering sums and telling them that its going to be okay.
Joe Bidens Huge Bet
[link=https://www.ft.com/content/49ca176d-8fa4-45a9-8c77-c837d1ad8e39?shareType=nongift]Financial Times[/link]: If Bidens coronavirus recovery plans are vindicated, they will demonstrate it is possible to build back better from the pandemic and that advanced economies have been overly obsessed with inflation for the past 30 years. It will put government back at the heart of day-to-day economic management.
If the plan comes off, it will show that unnecessary timidity in recent decades has let millions suffer unnecessary unemployment, starved many areas of opportunities for improved living standards and widened inequalities.
But if the strategy fails, ending in overheating, high inflation, financial instability and the economics of the 1970s, the US experiment of 2021 will go down as one of the biggest own goals of economic policymaking since François Mitterrands failed reflation in France in 1981.

Newsmax knows the real issues to cover with Biden scandals!!!
Newsmax host Greg Kelly took aim at [link=https://thehill.com/people/joe-biden]President Biden[/link]s dog Champ on Friday, mocking his appearance during a segment of his show.
Did you see the dog? Kelly asked, referring to Champ. Doesnt he look a little, uh a little rough? I love dogs but this dog needs a bath and a comb and all kinds of love and care. Ive never seen a dog in the White House like this.
Kelly then compared Champ to Buddy, former [link=https://thehill.com/people/bill-clinton]Bill Clinton[/link]s labrador retriever and Millie, former president George H.W. Bushs English springer spaniel.
Champ is a 12-year old German Shepherd.
Apparently the NewsMax anchor got confused with the former President’s wife policy and thought that you were supposed to get a *new* dog whenever the current one got old and scraggly.
Champghazi!-
I saw this video on the Twitter. This News Max guy is giving Rafael Cruz a battle for douche of the week.

Biden just sucks at presidenting.

Joe is *supposed* to tweet that Bob Dole was loser and made the Republican party very weak. -
It appears Joe Biden just shut down Chinese chip manufacturing via some toothy sanctions. Americans working there wouldve lost citizenship. American companies had to pull out. This seems like a BFD. Scorched earth.
Newt Gingrich warns GOP: Biden’s winning

Newt Gingrich: Quit Underestimating President Biden
Conservatives hostility to the Biden administration on our terms tends to blind us to just how effective Biden has been on his terms. He has only built upon and fortified the left-wing Big Government Socialist woke culture system.
We dislike Biden so much, we pettily focus on his speaking difficulties, sometimes strange behavior, clear lapses of memory, and other personal flaws. Our aversion to him and his policies makes us underestimate him and the Democrats.
But remember: Presidents Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan both preferred to be underestimated. Both wanted people to think of them as pleasant but not dangerous. They found being underestimated was a major asset. While people laughed at them, they were busy achieving their goals and getting their programs implemented.
Biden has achieved something similar.
…
Biden has carefully and cautiously waged war in Ukraine with no American troops. Although poorly timed and slowly delivered, U.S. weapons and financial aid have helped cripple what most thought would be an easy victory for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Despite terrible problems with the economy, crime, and the border (which led many analysts, me included, to assume the GOP would make big gains in November) Biden and his team executed a strategy of polarizing Americans against Donald Trump supporters. They turned Jan. 6 into a crisis which eclipsed the Lefts previous summer of fire, chaos, and destruction. They also grossly exaggerated the threat to abortion rights. And it all worked.
The Biden team had one of the best first term off-year elections in history. They were not repudiated. They did not have to pay for their terrible mismanagement of the economy.
If Republicans are going to successfully work through the next two years in the Congress and win the presidency in 2024 we need to look much more deeply at what worked and what did not work in 2020 and 2022.
Today there is not nearly enough understanding (or acknowledgement) among leading Republicans that our system and approach failed. We need to rethink from the ground up how we are going to [link=https://www.gingrich360.com/2022/07/25/defeating-big-government-s]Defeat Big Government Socialism[/link] including almost inevitable second-time Democrat Presidential Nominee Biden.
This is a much bigger challenge than I would have guessed before the election.

2. Crime increases- overblown
3. Border crisis immensely overblown
4. January 6, not a crisis- holy sheet newt they tried to overthrow the fng government

Re: the alleged document and 17 recordings from a Burisima Ukrainian executive reportedly proving that Joe Biden took a $5 million bribe
Heated Exchange During Judiciary Committee Hearing Between Senator Ted Cruz And FBI Deputy Director Abbate Over The Biden 1023
Senator @tedcruz: Last month, a whistleblower brought to light the existence in the FBI of a report, an FD-1023 in which the informant alleges that President Biden and his family members engaged in a $5 Million bribery scheme during his time as VP. Deputy Director Abbate, is it true that the FBI has a report making those allegations?”
Deputy Director Abbate: “I’m not going to comment on that, Senator.”
Cruz: “And why is that?”
Abbate: “I’m just not going to comment on information we’ve received investigations or other matters.”
Cruz: “You don’t owe the American people an obligation to be candid about evidence of corruption by the President of the United States?”
Abbate: “This is an area that I’m not going to get into with you, Senator.”
Cruz: “Well I understand you don’t want to, and that’s why people are mad at the FBI. Because you are stonewalling and covering up serious allegations of evidence of corruption from the President.”
“The FBI is stonewalling!”
FBI Deputy Director Refuses To Answer Whether There Are 17 Recording Of Joe & Hunter Biden
Sen. Cruz: “If the allegations are false, you know who could disprove them? Joe Biden. He could call for this to be released publicly.”

Biden is the [link=https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/biden-radical-left-wing-movement-history-victor-davis-hanson]most radical left wing president in history, period[/link]. Something, something, Biden is radical.’
The challenge for Republicans is that most Americans simply dont see Biden that way. You may not like Biden, his policies or his demeanor, but the radical tag just hasnt stuck. It didnt work during the campaign, it hasnt worked during his first month in office. Biden just doesnt give off the radical vibe. Theres plenty to criticize Biden for, but yelling radical at every turn isnt going to work.

RNC Calls Bidens First 100 Days a Failure …..

Anti-Biden sentiment not strong at CPAC
Democratic control of Washington loomed over the conference, but not in the way it once might have. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) was one of the only guests who mentioned the $1.9 trillion pandemic relief package that House Democrats passed Saturday morning. (McCarthy, focusing on the GOPs strong 2020 House performance, said that President Trump worked on all those races.)
Displays of anti-Biden sentiment were fairly rare, as the new president had not attained the boogeyman status of former president Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, who galvanized the right.

Biden Returns Portraits of Clinton and Bush
The White House has returned paintings of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush to prominent locations in the Grand Foyer after Donald Trump hid them in a room used for storage, the [link=https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9339439/White-House-returns-Bush-Clinton-portraits-prominent-location-Trump-hid-them.html]Daily Mail[/link] reports.
The official presidential portraits were visible in the entrance hallway of the executive mansion in a video the White House posted to its social media accounts in honor of Black History Month.-
He should F with Trump. Have the Trump portrait done and invite him to an unveiling. During the ceremony hang it in a weird place like below someone else’s portrait or in a non-prominent area. Just totally rip into his ego. Put it below Obama’s.
supposedly the dogs have been sent back to Delaware due to a biting incident. That stinks.-

[link=https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-revive-presidential-portrait-tradition-trump-skipped-n1271364?cid=sm_npd_ms_fb_ma]NBC News[/link]: President Joe Biden plans to host a White House ceremony this year for the unveiling of former President Barack Obamas official portrait And former President Donald Trump has already begun participating in the customary process so his official portrait can eventually hang alongside his predecessors.
Its unlikely Trump would follow the tradition of having his portrait unveiled at an East Room event hosted by his successor, given his false claims that Biden didnt legitimately win the 2020 election But a formal event with Obama and his wife, Michelle, is expected to take place at the White House likely this fall.

The Second War on Poverty
[link=https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/22319572/joe-biden-american-rescue-plan-war-on-poverty]Dylan Matthews[/link]: Fifty-seven years ago, a Democratic president who had a reputation as a moderate and who had been a senator and vice president before reaching the highest office in the land announced his administration would be waging unconditional war on poverty in America.
With Congresss passage of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, another Democratic president with a reputation as a moderate (and who came through the Senate and the vice presidency) is putting his stamp on American policy. The Covid-19 relief bill, which passed the US House on Wednesday afternoon and is set to be signed into law by President Joe Biden on Friday, is the most far-reaching anti-poverty legislation in more than 50 years.
