Kraft supports Wall built to keep Mexicans out but likes Asian women trafficked in as sex slaves.

Not sure what’s more surprising, the type of prostitution he engaged in (“massage” parlor action versus high end call girl) or that he’s doing this at age 77.  Wonder how Roger will respond.

NFL backs Jerry Jones and Jim Irsay.  Both sleazeballs.  Kraft is denying.  Interesting Adam Schefter from ESPN is saying contact in the area say this is going to get hotter and Kraft isn’t even the biggest name.

You guys love talking about “creepy old white guys” doing stupid stuff.

And then a guy commits his own “hate crime” to use as a bargaining chip and no one says a word. Wonder if his race or political views are why.

Again, you don’t care about right and wrong, just care about your side vs the other side

Why talk about the Juisse Smoller guy on a thread about Bob Kraft. If you want to do that start a thread for him. The guy basically is busted for staging a hate crime. I’m not sure what else there is to say. He’s busted.

Now back to Kraft. Supposedly the police have video of cash being exchanged for “services”. Also great headline “Kraft America Sleaze”. Love the cheese reference.

I do have to ask, illinois, what exactly did Smollett have to do with Kraft and soliciting prostitution from apparent trafficked sex slaves?

No illinois, it wasn’t about kpack, it was purely about how Smollett was injected into the thread and how his circumstances related. IMO, Smollett was meant as a distraction and scold as to why condemn Kraft but remain silent on Smollett?

THIS is what makes Kraft’s story criminal and morally bankrupt. It’s criminal vs an amateurish scam.

Something was amiss at a massage parlor near one of the wealthiest barrier islands in Florida.

First, a health inspector spotted several suitcases. Then she noticed an unusual stash of clothing, food and bedding. A young woman who was supposed to be a massage therapist spoke little English and seemed unusually nervous.

The inspector reported her findings to police. They would eventually learn that her suspicions were right: The women were not just employees: They were living in the day spa, sleeping on massage tables and cooking meals on hot plates in the back. Some of them had had their passports confiscated.

The inspectors suspicions prompted a sprawling investigation across four Florida counties and two states Florida and New York over nearly eight months, resulting in the disruption of what authorities say was a multimillion-dollar [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/22/sports/robert-kraft-jupiter-orchids-arrest.html?module=inline]human-trafficking and prostitution operation[/link].

The women were shuttled from place to place not only to nearby parlors but also across the state, said Sheriff Snyder. Sheriffs deputies in Orange County, Fla., became involved in the investigation when women from the states Treasure Coast region were traced back to the Orlando area.

I would never consider them prostitutes it was really a rescue operation, the sheriff said, training his anger at the men whose demand for sex kept the massage parlors in business. The monsters are the men, he added.

Sheriff Snyder said investigators, who worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, estimated the trafficking ring to be a $20 million international operation.

Chalk this up to the you can’t even make this $h1t up column.  President Trump had a selfie taken with the founder of the Asian Spa where Kraft got his tugger.  This Cindy Yang was also at his Mar A Lago Fundraiser.  This is from the Miami HErald.  She’s supposed have sold this chain but family still owns asian day spas which have drawn police scrutiny in Florida.  So she might still own rub and tugs.

Interesting how this post w/o follow up after all the claims by certain posters charging human trafficking. So what do we now know. No evidence of human trafficking as claimed. No one charged for trafficking at that spa. Reports that FBI and Immigration refused to get involved because of a lack of evidence. Video tape has been suppressed by judge which basically destroys the case. Class action suit has been filed by well known Atty Joe Tacopina representing 31 people claiming 4th amendment violations because they were there to obtain a massage and not sex.

Well we know the case is not going well and no trafficking at the spa, and at least 31 people had their constitutional rights violated.
A single (widowed) man paid for sexual gratification. The post wanted to drag it into a political thing. Now you bring  in religion.

Interesting that this case was totally bungled by the local police who constantly harassed the sex workers at the “spa” while justifying it as human trafficking. Now the Conservatives and Libertarians are the defenders of sex workers criticizing liberals for their believing the police about human trafficking.

The politics spin 180 degrees on a dime as Libertarians and Conservatives are suddenly defenders of prostitution and sex workers and criticizing police shakedowns.

Now if this had been a pizza parlor these defenders would be yelling the opposite.

It was because it was Kraft & his high priced legal team fighting to the end that exposed the police shakedown and lies to the court about the necessity of surveillance.

Interesting that Asian sex workers coming to America “for a better life” are defended by the Right while they say other immigrants should be deported. I guess America needs more “exotic” sex workers to stroke the happy endings for the Right customers. Are these sex workers all “legal” I guess they are an excellent example of Tump’s “merit based” immigration – more sex workers are needed.

”This case has been bungled from the beginning, in every way,” said Joseph Tacopina, a former New York City prosecutor who recently filed a federal class-action lawsuit claiming cops violated constitutional privacy rights by using covert cameras in a Jupiter spa.

From illegal video recordings to illegal traffic stops, here’s how it all collapsed.

In all previous prostitution stings at South Florida massage parlors including a few with similar sneak-and-peek warrants for secret cameras the cases resolved quietly and mostly out of the spotlight.

Few if any people charged ever challenged the prosecutions. They paid fines and performed community service hours, to avoid embarrassment.

This time was very different.

Kraft made a sheepish public apology, but also employed a national legal team with a motto of “playing to win.”

Officials said their efforts were aimed in part at targeting suspected [link=https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/florida/fl-bz-human-trafficking-20190315-story.html#nt=instory-link]human trafficking[/link] at the massage parlors. They pointed to state health department inspections suggesting that sex workers from Asia were living at the businesses.

State Attorney Dave Aronberg called human trafficking “evil in our midst,” adding that there is “the cold reality that many prostitutes in cases like this are themselves victims, often lured into this country with promises of a better life.”

But Aronberg’s office walked back the claims, telling Kraft’s judge that there was no evidence of human trafficking. It was just misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution charges for the men, and felony charges of making money from prostitution for the women.

After judges approved the sneak-and-peek warrants, police used “tactical ruses” to clear out the businesses so they could install the cameras in the massage rooms and the lobby. The cops said they needed to investigate a suspicious package, creating a bomb scare.

Palm Beach County Judge Leonard Hanser agreed that planting cameras was necessary to infiltrate crime. “The unique circumstances of a massage room creates the need for an unusually intrusive law enforcement technique,” Hanser wrote.

But Hanser concluded the warrant still broke federal law, because police didn’t do enough to focus only on crimes and to minimize the cameras’ intrusiveness. At all of the spas with the secret cameras, police wound up recording people receiving lawful services, even though the focus was supposed to be only on men paying for sex acts.

You guys love talking about “creepy old white guys” doing stupid stuff.

And then a guy commits his own “hate crime” to use as a bargaining chip and no one says a word. Wonder if his race or political views are why.

Again, you don’t care about right and wrong, just care about your side vs the other side

No one talking about R Kelly either.

Hmmm, must mean something.

What “side” is R Kelly on?

Perhaps YOU are the one seeing all things through a “side” lens?

You need to make better arguments. You have a problem recognizing real issues. Smollett was pulled from final season of Empire. You want him defended or else it somehow “proves” that “we” only see white criminals?

Oh, but that doesn’t fit in with your argument then, does it.

r kelly and ryan adams have nothing to do with politics. a supposed hate crime does.

again all 4 are clearly wrong. It’s strange you tell me to get a life when you chain post biased political posts on a radiology board. different strokes I guess.

Well, Kraft is of greater interest than the average John because he is a prominent supporter of the President of the United States who himself paid a porn star hush money to hide an encounter.  And the President of the United States has commented about Kraft “proclaiming his innocence”.

When I was 21, my best friend, also black and gay, was assaulted outside his home by two men. He was kicked, punched and had his face pounded into the pavement. Passersby saw him and did nothing to stop it or come to his aid. Afterward, he declined to call the police. When I asked why not, he said: Do I look like Matthew Shepard to you? No ones going to do a documentary on another black f—– getting beat up. My friends story isnt unique. Not even close.

Johnson was found dead in the Hudson River in 1992. Her death was initially classified as a suicide, but after LGBT activists investigated further, her cause of death was reclassified as undetermined.

A New York man was convicted of manslaughter in 2016 for the 2013 killing of transgender woman Islan Nettles. [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/05/nyregion/brooklyn-man-james-dixon-pleads-guilty-to-manslaughter-in-transgender-womans-death.html]According to[/link] the New York Times, the killer told police he had flown into a blind fury after being taunted by others for talking to a trans woman, but the district attorney declined to charge a hate crime.

In 2012, Mother Jones [link=https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/05/cece-mcdonald-transgender-hate-crime-murder/]reported[/link] on the case of Crishaun CeCe McDonald, who was walking with several people past a group of people at a bar who called her and her friends n—–s and f—–s before one of the bar patrons hit her in the face with a glass, causing a gash that required stitches. When McDonald was followed by one of the men coming after her group, she turned and confronted him with a pair of scissors that she had pulled from her purse, and he was stabbed and killed. She was defending herself standing her ground, some would say but was arrested and later convicted of manslaughter.

The Human Rights Campaign website [link=https://www.hrc.org/resources/being-african-american-lgbtq-an-introduction]states[/link]: According to a [link=http://www.avp.org/storage/documents/Reports/2014_HV_Report-Final.pdf]2014 report on hate violence[/link] against LGBT and HIV-affected communities, Black survivors of hate violence were 1.3 times more likely to experience police violence than their non-Black counterparts. Black survivors were also twice as likely to experience any physical violence, twice as likely to experience discrimination and 1.4 times more likely to experience threats and intimidation during acts of hate violence. Additionally, Black transgender women face the highest levels of [link=https://assets2.hrc.org/files/assets/resources/HRC-AntiTransgenderViolence-0519.pdf]fatal violence[/link] within the LGBT community and are less likely to turn to police for help for fear of revictimization by law enforcement personnel.
