  • Mexican Water Debts

    Never knew this existed.  Apparently Mexico and the US have a treaty from back in WWII.  We send water of the Colorado to the west for them, and they send Rio GRande water to the US.  Apparently this is a hot issue in Mexico as they are stymied with a drought.

    Interesting.  I vaguely recall this but didn’t know it was still going on.
     
    US dropped the ball over the last 100 years or so in really building up Mexico/central america.  Although to be fair, we did throw a lot of money at the problem and they seem to love their dictators and corruption for some reason.
