Do we know if this girl really has all her marbles in the first place? Or is she just another Judith “Curve Ball” Miller? I guess we’ll soon find out if she lands a gig at Faux, too…

CNN this morning – Candy Crowley laying into Lindsey Graham on his threat to place holds on Obama nominees based on the CBS report. It’s a bit snippy but it looks like Graham might be backing off a little bit (but not a lot).

So quaint…remember when the right was up in arms over Dan Rather? I guess it fits the Fox world view any reporting to damage Obama need not be true; then again even Fox smelled a rat with Dylan Davies…

I find it astonishing that with all of your posts in these discussions, you have absolutely nothing at all to offer except adolescent heckling. It’s no wonder you’re sympathetic to Cruz, et al. It’s actually getting quite funny. Keep it up, class clown (or should I say classless clown?).

Besides, Faux could always use more “team players” who will present the story regardless of how unvetted the source is. Just look at how fast they hired Judith “Curve Ball” Miller after NYT canned her. And the fact that Logan now has a rep for being “honest” will add tremendous cred for her no matter what multi-million dollar contract she signs next.
Time will tell.

That continues to be the great hope of the GOP. that “he gist of the story is going to turn out to be true.” For now though (and it’s a better than even bet it holds in the future) there is no smoking gun on Benghazi.
Yes, Darryl Issa can continue to hammer on it in hearings and Lindsey Graham can continue to keep the story in the press using nomination holds to use it as a rallying cry for the base, but it’s just not likely to be a bigger issue later than it is now. The CBS story was like 200,000 volts into the Frankenstein Benghazi monster, bringing it back to life. That it is now pulled makes the great monstrosity fall back to the dead.
And this retraction from CBS takes a huge amount of pressure off of Hillary Clinton. She can pretty much just say “We’ve seen that the sources used to attack me were bogus and the attack were politically motivated” as a reply to anything on her role in Benghazi, then pivot to embassy security. -
they were taking some shots at this on the daily show and colbert report. The first segment of each was pretty funny last night.

The CBS newsmagazine [link=http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50158869n]recently ran a correction[/link] on the story they ran about the attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans. In the original story, a man claimed to have been there, but his story was ultimately proven false.
Colbert pretended to fall for a similar ruse in a bit where a “60 Minutes” college intern named Poncho Denews claimed he was there when [link=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/12/hillary-clinton-elizabeth-warren-2016_n_4257891.html]Hillary Clinton[/link] forced the network to air the correction.

Corporate synergy may explain 60 Minutes shoddy reporting.
CBS News, like all the other TV news outlets, is part of a giant corporate conglomerate. By this point, it’s a given that one of the unspoken roles of a TV news division is to [link=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/08/nbc-hillary-clinton-corporate-synergy_n_3725565.html]help promote its corporate partners[/link]. That’s why you see movie stars from Universal films on NBC News shows all the time, or why “Good Morning America” devoted a [link=http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2013/11/look-like-olivia-pope-affordable-ways-to-get-scandal-ous-style/]recent segment[/link] to the fashion from ABC’s “Scandal.”
CBS News is no stranger to this, and nor is “60 Minutes.” A sizable portion of the segments from the venerable newsmagazine derive from interviews with people who also have books being published by Simon & Schuster, another part of the CBS corporate family.
That was the case with Dylan Davies, the British security contractor whose apparently relaxed attitude to the truth has caused so much trouble for “60 Minutes.” Beyond its reporting problems, “60” also failed to disclose in its original broadcast that Davies had a book being published by Threshold, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster. That book has since been [link=http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2013/11/publisher-pulls-benghazi-book-shelves-after-60-minutes-story-falls-apart/71415/]recalled[/link].
That fact raised immediate questions about the timeline of the reporting — questions which CBS has [link=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/11/60-minutes-benghazi-questions_n_4252057.html?utm_hp_ref=media]so far not answered[/link]. Did “60 Minutes” find Davies on its own, or did his book add an irresistible synergistic flavor to the show’s Benghazi report? Did it face any internal pressure to help push for Davies’ story to get on air?
The Washington Post [link=http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/cbs-news-and-reporter-lara-logan-face-brutal-criticism-on-flawed-benghazi-report/2013/11/11/b2f55d8c-4b1f-11e3-ac54-aa84301ced81_story_1.html]spoke[/link] to Terence Smith, a former media correspondent for PBS, who raised the pertinent question, saying that CBS needed “to do a thorough reconstruction of their reporting…and assure us that this was not done to help sell books for Simon & Schuster.”Media Matters [link=http://mediamatters.org/blog/2013/11/12/60-minutes-still-hasnt-mentioned-their-benghazi/196862]noted[/link] on Tuesday that Logan’s apology on “60 Minutes” did not include a mea culpa for her failure to disclose the show’s corporate ties to Davies’ book.
On Wednesday, Jeff Simon, the book editor for the Buffalo News, [link=http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/jeff-simon/apologies-galore-from-60-minutes-riveting-raw-reality-from-cbs-nfl-today-20131112]devoted much of a column[/link] to the connection. He said that, less than 24 hours after the “60 Minutes” report first aired, he got a copy of the Davies book in the mail — a nice bit of corporate timing that Simon said “gave me pause.” -

Pretty mind blowing that there’s a distinct possibility the Benghazi 60 Minute’s positioning was due to lazy “reporting” that gravitated toward their own corporate motive to sell books.
Brings me back to Judith Miller’s “insider” reports that came from Chilabi’s dead beat, drunken cousin “Curve Ball”, the so-called “senior official” in D.C that ended up getting her fired at NYT and hired at Faux. Her cowardly reporting helped kill over 4000 of our kids over in Iraq. The 85 days she spent in jail for the Joe Wilson story is a joke. She should have fried for the traitorous curve ball she threw at America.

Lara Logan placed on leave for the fictional story.
[link=http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2013/11/26/lara_logan_benghazi_cbs_news_puts_60_minutes_reporter_on_leave_over_since.html]http://www.slate.com/blog…_leave_over_since.html[/link]Jeff ****er, chairman of CBS News and executive producer of ‘”60 Minutes,” informed staff Tuesday that Lara Logan and her producer, Max McClellan, would be taking a leave of absence following an internal report on the newsmagazine’s discredited Oct. 27 Benghazi report.
(Really, AM thought police can’t even spell this guy’s name? It is F-A-G-E-R. No homophobe slur in there.) -
[link=http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/27/business/media/leave-of-absence-for-lara-logan-after-flawed-benghazi-report.html?_r=0]http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/27/business/media/leave-of-absence-for-lara-logan-after-flawed-benghazi-report.html?_r=0[/link]
The review, conducted by CBS Newss executive director of standards and practices, Al Ortiz, was unstinting in its evaluation of the report, which Mr. Ortiz called deficient in several respects.
Perhaps chief among the deficiencies, according to Mr. Ortizs review, was that the account Mr. Davies gave to Ms. Logan and Mr. McClellan differed from versions he had provided both to his employer, Blue Mountain, and to the F.B.I. This discrepancy, Mr. Ortiz writes, was knowable before the piece aired.
CBSs previous defense had been that it relied on Mr. Davies and was taken in by him. Mr. Ortiz contradicted that defense by saying CBS could have, and should have, been able to verify his account before presenting him as a reliable source.
The wider reporting resources of CBS News were not employed in an effort to confirm his account, Mr. Ortiz wrote. He concluded: Logan and producer Max McClellan told me they found no reason to doubt Daviess account and found no holes in his story. But the team did not sufficiently vet Daviess account of his own actions and whereabouts that night.
The report also criticizes Ms. Logan for not adequately substantiating her conclusion that Al Qaeda took part in the attack and for making a speech in October 2012 that took a position on the attack, and then participating in a story in which she would have been expected to be objective about the facts of the attack.
From a CBS News standards perspective, there is a conflict in taking a public position on the governments handling of Benghazi and Al Qaeda, while continuing to report on the story, Mr. Ortiz wrote. The report also took 60 Minutes to task for not disclosing on the air that a book written by Mr. Davies about the incident was published by an outlet owned by CBS.

A new New York Times research piece finds no link to AQ in the Benghazi attacks.
[link=http://www.nytimes.com/projects/2013/benghazi/?partner=rss&emc=rss#/?chapt=0]http://www.nytimes.com/projects/2013/benghazi/?partner=rss&emc=rss#/?chapt=0[/link]
Months of investigation by The New York Times, centered on extensive interviews with Libyans in Benghazi who had direct knowledge of the attack there and its context, turned up no evidence that Al Qaeda or other international terrorist groups had any role in the assault. The attack was led, instead, by fighters who had benefited directly from NATOs extensive air power and logistics support during the uprising against Colonel Qaddafi. And contrary to claims by some members of Congress, it was fueled in large part by anger at an American-made video denigrating Islam.

Its been pulled, the original page deader than a healthcare.gov login. But if you caught it that night, or watched it online the next day, you were told to brace for an exclusive about the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on a U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Youll hear for the first time from a security officer who witnessed the attack, correspondent Lara Logan said in her introduction. He calls himself Morgan Jonesa pseudonym hes using for his own safety.
Every American should watch @60Minutes piece on #Benghazi last night, [link=https://twitter.com/SenJohnMcCain/status/394835090896744448]wrote[/link]Arizona Sen. John McCain. We must know all the facts about what happened. South Carolina Sen. Later, he pledged to block presidential nominees in the Senate until he got more access to witnesses. At that moment, the team at Media Matters was strategizing about how to fight back. David Brocks watchdog group had been founded nine years ago largely as an antidote to Fox News stories about the presidential race. Today, with new president Bradley Beychok, Media Matters has grown to 75 staffers. Debunking the [i]60 Minutes[/i]piece, he says, was priority one, priority two, and priority three. And as of Nov. 8, the story has been retracted[i], 60 Minutes[/i] [link=http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/09/business/media/cbs-correspondent-apologizes-for-report-on-benghazi-attack.html?smid=tw-share&_r=0]has apologized[/link], and Jones (real name Dylan Davies) is doing no interviews as his publisher recalls the hardback from booksellers. ([b][i]Slate[/i][/b] had also run an excerpt from the books prologue.)
This is a good example of when were able to deploy any and all resources needed on a subject of importance, says Beychok. This is a topic we saw comingas its been in the conservative media for months and months. So we were ready for this.
Thats what worries conservatives. Davies hung himself on the story, writing [link=http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/60-minutes-broadcast-helps-propel-new-round-of-back-and-forth-on-benghazi/2013/10/31/fbfcad66-4258-11e3-a751-f032898f2dbc_story.html]an incident report[/link] that claimed he was still in his villa when the attack happened, and then telling the FBI something similar. (CBS News didnt know the first fact, and[link=http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/11/02/exclusive-benghazi-whistleblower-says-he-was-smeared.html]Davies later told[/link] reporter Eli Lake he didnt write the report.) That threw the entire saga into doubt, even though it wasnt pivotal to the demand for a select committee to investigate Benghaziwhat Republicans have asked for all year.
Media Matters has scored a win with its attack on CBS Newsand rightly so, wrote the regretful Joel Pollak, editor of Breitbart.com, [link=http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/11/08/David-Brock-Media-Matters-Warn-Clinton-Critics]in an editorial[/link]. (He had originally[link=http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/10/28/CBS-60-Minutes-Try-to-Atone-for-Benghazi-Cover-up]characterized the story[/link] as CBS try[ing] to atone for [the] Benghazi cover-up, for not releasing a dissembling quote on the attack from President Obama during the election.) That has not changed the basic facts of the Benghazi story: Obama and Clinton failed to protect U.S. diplomats, then lied to the public about a YouTube video. But it will make journalists more wary of covering the story, and especially of covering Clinton. They will realize now there is no room for error.
If that wasnt [i]exactly[/i] the goal, progressives are comfortable with the spoils. One administration source [link=http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/the-latest-turn-of-the-screw]compared this fallout[/link] to the implosion, back in May, of an ABC News story that overstated what memos revealed about the White Houses involvement in Sunday show talking points about Benghazi. Maybe the Benghazi scandal has faded because gnarlier scandals popped up afterward, but stumbling media and congressional Pinkertons definitely helped.
So Media Matters win has to be seen as an early sign of Democratic plotting for 2016. Just weeks before the CBS story, Brock and Media Matters Ari Rabin-Havt published[i][link=http://www.politico.com/story/2013/10/clinton-ally-pens-e-book-the-benghazi-hoax-98563.html]The Benghazi Hoax,[/link][/i] an e-book attempt to lock the scandal in a coffin and hammer in silver nails. In more than 90 pages and 198 footnotes, the authors aimed to prove that more than a dozen half-baked or completely bogus allegations about the attack in Libya have been raised and each one has been debunked by credible sources.

who knows what went down but imho to have her reporting out there with a mob in regular dress was a little dicey
Quote from Lux
Did anyone ever vet Logan’s “they raped me with their hands” claim during the Egypt rebellion? Do we know if this girl really has all her marbles in the first place? Or is she just another Judith “Curve Ball” Miller? I guess we’ll soon find out if she lands a gig at Faux, too…

Fox News counters with “anonymous sources” that disagree with the NYTimes report on Benghazi.
__
I like this little commentary:
[link=http://www.ajc.com/weblogs/jay-bookman/2013/dec/30/gops-benghazi-mythology-self-destructed-long-ago/]http://www.ajc.com/weblogs/jay-bookman/2013/dec/30/gops-benghazi-mythology-self-destructed-long-ago/[/link]
The Times story will renew attention to the Benghazi story for a few more days, but the truth is, the conservative narrative on Benghazi had long ago self-destructed and exposed itself as myth. In fact, the initial account put forward by the Obama administration has held up under scrutiny far better than the conservative version concocted weeks and months later.
Contrary to conservative claims, there had never been a “stand-down order” not to try to rescue Stevens and others; contrary to their charges, the initial talking points citing the video as inspiration for the attack were clearly drafted by CIA experts, not by White House political types out to provide cover. Despite false reports from Fox News and others, we had no military assets capable of mounting a rescue effort on such short notice in such an isolated place; there is no evidence whatsoever that the Obama administration and the U.S. military abandoned our people in the field.
That last charge is so sensational and reprehensible that in a more sane political environment, it would not even be raised without at least some evidence that it was true. But as we all recognize, we do not live in that kind of environment. There is a significant political and commercial market for anti-Obama hype, and those who comprise that market have never demanded that their alternative reality have a foundation in fact. The Times report will not change that.-
[i]The New Yorker[/i] puts nice summary of the takeaway of the Senate Benghazi report.
[link=http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/closeread/2014/01/the-blame-in-the-senate-report-on-benghazi.html]http://www.newyorker.com/…eport-on-benghazi.html[/link]
The Senate Intelligence Committee report on what happened in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, is, in many ways, a catalogue of what can happen when one decides to act as though a situation is what one wishes it to be, not what it is. Benghazi, the report sensibly points out, was a dangerous place, and a lot of people knew it. But it was also supposed to be an enchanted place, the birthplace of a rebellion America had generously fostered and the home of scrappy militias who were grateful to us.
The majority members of the committeethe Democratsconcluded that the attacks were likely preventable.
Some of the decisions to turn down or not request more security were made in Benghazi, and some were made in Washington; this was more than a single misjudgment. Reading the report, one gets the sense that saying yes would have meant a shift not only in resources but toward a pessimism that the Administration was not prepared for. (Republican senators, in their comments, quote a State Department official who was told by another in Washington that approving one request would be embarrassing and give Libya more security agents than in Yemen and Pakistan.)
This does not mean that all the delusions fall to one side. The Democratic senators went on to say that the Majority also believes, however, that the Benghazi attacks have been the subject of misinformed speculation and accusations long after the basic facts of the attacks have been determined, and that is hard to dispute. Benghazi has become a magic word, thrown out whenever Republicans are angry or defensive; in the case of Bridgegate, it was somehow invoked in defense of Chris Christie. The many pages on the minute-by-minute editing of the talking points that Susan Rice, then the United Nations Ambassador, used to prep for her Sunday-morning talk shows in September, 2011, are the least edifying part of the Senate report. The majority thinks that there was no coverup in their production; the minority wants to know more.
The talking-points controversy was always strangely misdirectedin part because, as this report makes clear, there is a lot that was substantively wrong with the way things were managed in Benghazi. That is true particularly if the subject of discussion is Hillary Clinton. She does not come out well in this report, in any part, although the Republican minority is more florid in its criticisms. The State Department made mistakes when she was its leader. One of the findings is that nothing changed even when tripwires meant to prompt an increase in security or suspension in operations had been crossed, and people in the Department knew it.
Libya was supposed to be something we were done with; now it will be a question Hillary Clinton has to contend with in 2016, and, in fairness, rightly so.
This is something Obama has to answer for, too. He made the decision to intervene militarily in Libya without invoking the War Powers Actand that, and not some phantom version of the talking points, is the purloined letter in this case. Gates writes of that moment,
[blockquote]He chose to go with the opinion of the White House counsel and State Department legal adviser, that the engagement fell short of hostilities as defined in the War Powers Act and therefore the mission could be continued indefinitely without permission from Congress. A small minority of Republicans and Democrats on the Hill strongly objected to this assertion of presidential power, but there was never a serious challenge to the legality of the presidents actions.[/blockquote] By saying that he didn’t have to get Congresss permission because whatever we were doing didn’t rise to the level of hostilities, he was willing it to always be so. There was no challenge then, but there also wasn’t the kind of consent that might have put some check on the most partisan extremes in the fight about Benghazi now. Obama and his advisers had decided beforehand that this was limited, and wouldn’t go wrong; and then it did.
From my own perspective the GOP has wanted something…anything… that would totally take down the Obama administration so badly that they couldn’t simply settle for the narrative of “bungled” or “inept” or “politically motivated”. They had to go all the way to “massive cover-up worthy of impeachment”. The overreach on the politics of Benghazi led quickly to a point where partisans on either side can’t be moved off their positions by any particular information. Just another 47/47 issue for the bases.-
Spiraling off the deep edge into an anti-Semitic black hole ….

[link=https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/03/lara-logan-anti-semitic-comments]Lara Logans Latest Anti-Semitic Comments Are More Suited for a White Supremacist Chat Room
[/link][b]From [i]60 Minutes[/i] correspondent to Fox Nation host to guest on a QAnon-adjacent online show, former war correspondent Logan now spends her days spewing anti-Semitic conspiracies.
[/b]
When [b]Lara Logan,[/b] once a [i]60 Minutes[/i] correspondent, shared an openly anti-Semitic conspiracy theory on a QAnon-adjacent online show last Thursday, her remarks were swiftly condemnedbut for her, at least lately, they werent shocking. Does anyone know who employed Darwin, where Darwinism comes from? Look it up: the Rothschilds, Logan said on [i]And We Know,[/i] apparently blaming the theory of evolution on [link=https://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounders/jewish-control-of-the-federal-reserve-a-classic-antisemitic-myth#the-rothschild-connection]an anti-Semitic myth[/link] involving the Jewish banking family turned business dynasty. It goes right back to 10 Downing Street, the same people who employed Darwin, and thats when Darwin wrote his theory of evolution, and so on and so on. And Im not saying that none of that is true. Im just saying Darwin was hired by someone to come up with a theory, she said.
…
In some ways, Logans latest remarks only show how far away she has moved [link=https://www.mediamatters.org/lara-logan/pizzagate-january-6-moron-zelensky-and-aliens-foxs-lara-logan-goes-conspiracy-theory]from reality[/link]. Logan, once better known as a [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/19/t-magazine/lara-logan-remains-a-tenacious-journalist.html]single-minded, fearless[/link] [link=https://www.businessinsider.com/how-lara-logan-went-from-war-correspondent-to-fox-nation-2021-12]CBS war correspondent[/link] who faltered when her report about the Benghazi attack was [link=https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/60-minutes-apologizes-for-benghazi-report/2013/11/08/6e7b6b9a-487e-11e3-a196-3544a03c2351_story.html]subsequently retracted[/link], was announced as a series host on [link=https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/lara-logan-enters-fox-news-media-universe-1255717/]Fox Nation[/link] in 2019. But last November, Logans frequent appearances on Fox News quietly came to a stop after she [link=https://www.mediamatters.org/lara-logan/fox-nation-host-compares-dr-anthony-fauci-nazi-dr-josef-mengele]compared[/link] Dr. [b]Anthony Fauci[/b] to the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele on [i]Fox News Primetime,[/i] then subsequently got into an [link=https://www.thedailybeast.com/fox-nation-host-lara-logan-digs-in-boosts-attacks-on-auschwitz-museum]online fight with the Auschwitz Museum[/link]. Following that incident, Logan was [link=https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/lara-logan-uta-fox-news-1235156200/]dropped[/link] by United Talent Agency and has yet to see another minute of airtime on the network. But all episodes of her show, [i]Lara Logan Has No Agenda,[/i] are still available on the networks Fox Nation streaming platform. (A Fox News spokesperson declined to comment on the record.)
…
On Gettr, a right-wing social media platform, Logan promoted a wildly anti-Semitic article that included an image, according to a [link=https://www.mediamatters.org/lara-logan/fox-nation-host-lara-logan-shares-conspiracy-theories-about-putins-purge-rothschild]Media Matters report[/link], that read: What would Zionists do? The image falsely claimed that a Jewish banking cartel invented communism and has instigated war by way of deception. It also accused Jews and the Rothschilds of spreading anti-Christianity, controlling the media, and running international terror operations. The visual included a bloodred Star of David in the center.

Good piece on Logan
[link=https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/22/business/media/lara-logan-cbs-news.html]Lara Logan, Once a Star at CBS News, Is Now One for the Far Right
[/link][b]The former chief foreign affairs correspondent is now a popular guest on podcasts hosted by vaccine skeptics and deniers of the 2020 election.[/b]
[b]
[/b]
From the outside, Ms. Logans path has been one of the most puzzling in the modern history of television news. Her reporting for 60 Minutes and the CBS Evening News helped inform the nations understanding of the toll that a decade of military conflict was taking on American forces. CBS News executives envisioned her as [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/23/arts/television/war-zone-it-girl-has-a-big-future-at-cbs-news.html]a next-generation star[/link] in the mold of a Mike Wallace or Dan Rather.
But her transformation, into a star of far-right media, is one that former colleagues who worked closely with her said did not completely come out of nowhere.
[b]
…[/b]
In November, after she compared Dr. Fauci to Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor who performed inhumane experiments on concentration camp prisoners, [link=https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/lara-logan-dumped-fox-news-1330170/]Ms. Logan was dumped[/link] by the production company that made a show she starred in on Fox Nation, the streaming service for Fox News. Her longtime talent agency also severed ties with her, according to one news executive.
Since then, she has been relegated even further into the periphery of conservative media, where vaccine skeptics and election deniers host her and hail her as a whistleblower who, in their telling, is exposing mainstream media cover-ups. In interviews in recent weeks, she has taken aim at a range of seemingly unrelated targets railing against open border ideologues and the United Nations bureaucrats she accuses of supporting them, so-called smart meters that record energy consumption in homes, and activists working to reverse climate change, which she has called another load of B.S.
[b]
….[/b]
Ms. Logans banishment from mainstream media has hardly restricted her access to the center of gravity in the Republican Party.
This month, she made [link=https://www.mediaite.com/opinion/glitz-glamour-and-election-fraud-sights-and-sounds-from-the-mar-a-lago-premiere-of-dinesh-dsouzas-loony-2020-film/]a trip[/link] to Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trumps Florida estate, for a screening of a new film by the conservative author Dinesh DSouza. Other guests included General Flynn, Rudolph W. Giuliani, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican of Georgia, and Kyle Rittenhouse, the man acquitted of murdering two people during a political demonstration that turned violent in Kenosha, Wis., in 2020. As guests mingled on the grounds, Mr. Rittenhouse stopped to have his picture taken with Ms. Logan.-
I saw the picture of her and Kyle. She might have let him motorboat.

Lara Logan too much even for Newsmax
[i][i][link=https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redirect-to/?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F2022%2F10%2F20%2Fmedia%2Fnewsmax-lara-logan-ban%2Findex.html]Newsmax bans Lara Logan[/link] after QAnon-style rant, condemns her words in the strongest terms[/i][/i]
In a bizarre interview, Logan told host Eric Bolling that[b] the open border is Satans way of taking control of the world, [/b]and later added that [b]the worlds elites want us eating insects [and] cockroaches while they dine on the blood of children.[/b]
Logan, a former 60 Minutes correspondent, has in recent years peddled incendiary and conspiratorial rhetoric. After her departure from CBS, Logan became a regular fixture on Fox News right-wing talk programs.
But she has not appeared on the networks air after she [link=https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/01/media/lara-logan-fox-news-fauci/index.html]made an outrageous comparison[/link], drawing a parallel between Dr. Anthony Fauci and the infamous Nazi angel of death doctor Josef Mengele.
Logan said earlier this year that she was dumped by Fox News.

Kind of amazing people believe this stuff.
Apparently the MAGA crowd has updated things to Satanists drinking childrens blood from the old one of Jews drinking childrens blood.

Quote from DICOM_Dan
Kind of amazing that all those kids missing goes unnoticed.
Heard on the internetz –
If Lara Logan’s career continues on this downward spiral, by 2025 she’ll be reduced to becoming a Republican Senate candidate.-
True enough. Its an unfathomable spiral some of these folks are on. The only thing I can think is that theyre getting paid because why else would you destroy your integrity.

Anti-Semitism and Fascism on the rise from the GOP crowd. Time to consider a back-up safe-place outside of the US?
I think Dalai has his old question answered as to why most American Jews do not support the GOP.
[link=https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/10/28/american-jews-exile-fears/]https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/10/28/american-jews-exile-fears/[/link]On the holiest night of the Jewish year earlier this month, my rabbi looked up from his Kol Nidre sermon a homily about protecting Americas liberal democracy and posed a question that wasnt in his prepared text: How many people in the last few years have been at a dining room conversation where the conversation has turned to where might we move? How many of us?
He was talking about the unthinkable: that Jews might need to flee the United States. In the congregation, many hands most? went up.
The sermon included a [link=https://ejewishphilanthropy.com/this-high-holy-days-preach-democracy-please/]quotation [/link]from the Jewish scholar Michael Holzman: For American Jews, the disappearance of liberal democracy would be a disaster. We have flourished under the shelter of the principles behind the First Amendment, and we have been protected by the absolute belief in the rule of law. Without these, Jews, start packing suitcases.
Incidents of antisemitic harassment, vandalism and assault nearly [link=https://www.adl.org/audit2021]tripled [/link]between 2015 and 2021, the ADL reports, and it says 2022 attacks are on pace with last years record level. This week was the fourth anniversary of the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre, which was followed by other synagogue attacks in 2019 and earlier this year. One in 4 U.S. Jews has [link=https://www.ajc.org/news/top-5-takeaways-from-ajcs-call-to-action-against-antisemitism]experienced antisemitism[/link] in the past year.
Now we have Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, unleashing a torrent of filth on social media (death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE), white supremacists [link=https://twitter.com/RightWingWatch/status/1582028599812820992]applauding [/link]him (and giving [link=https://www.kktv.com/2022/10/24/group-holds-signs-does-nazi-salutes-support-kanye-wests-antisemitic-tweets/]Nazi salutes[/link] to Los Angeles motorists), Elon Musks Twitter preparing to welcome white supremacists, and the Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial nominee [link=https://www.haaretz.com/jewish/2022-09-15/ty-article/.premium/far-right-gop-candidate-mastriano-uses-antisemitic-tropes-against-his-jewish-opponent/00000183-416a-d83c-a39b-f56ee8ed0000]deploying[/link] [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/21/us/politics/jenna-ellis-josh-shapiro-jewish.html]antisemitism [/link]against his Jewish opponent.
The only choice is to stay and fight for our liberal democracy. As my rabbi, Danny Zemel, put it on Kol Nidre: If there is a Jewish message for our time, it is to support our great experiment with every fiber of our being.
