  • Is it fair to say that the NYT is working with the Deep State to damage Trump?

Posted by Unknown Member on September 8, 2018 at 9:04 pm

NYT recently published an anonymous op-ed from a “senior administration official” who states the administration is in chaos, trump is incompetent, and that there is a faceless “resistance” against Trump from within the administration.

Is this not the definition of a “Deep State”. Is the NYT and Statist media (Wash Post, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, etc) working with the Deep State to hurt the president?

The argument that we have a shadow government protecting us from a mad king. The shadow government composed of senior officials selected by the mad king himself.

The argument that we have a shadow government protecting us from a mad king. The shadow government composed of senior officials selected by the mad king himself.

The article in question directly answers the argument.

This isnt the work of the so-called deep state. Its the work of the steady state…

The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility…

There is a quiet resistance within the administration of people choosing to put country first. But the real difference will be made by everyday citizens rising above politics, reaching across the aisle and resolving to shed the labels in favor of a single one: Americans.

I would say no.  This is not the traditional definition of “Deep State” because these the President’s own appointees, not faceless members of a government bureaucracy.

This is best described as “insubordination”.

Is it concerning? Absolutely.  Is it the “Deep State”? Not be traditional definition.

As for you comment about “resistance” and trying to “hurt the  President”, the author is clear:

[wuote]To be clear, ours is not the popular resistance of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.[/quote]

The writer is a fraud, a fiction, it’s always been obvious.

Leakers to the press are the deep state, obviously. And they leak incorrect information, which is far worse than any alternative.

These include the deep state actors, most obviously the FBI and CIA, among other monstrosities that are unelected and unappointed by the current admin.

The NYT is straight up propaganda at this point. The paper itself said that Obama had set any and all future precedents for abridging freedom of the press, easily the worst perpetrator of all time. I can count the ways. [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/30/opinion/sunday/if-donald-trump-targets-journalists-thank-obama.html]Thank you Mr. Risen [/link]for printing something that’s accurate in the NYT.

Obama isn’t president now, Trump is. Please. The worst criticism from you people and Trump was that Obama wasn’t born in the US. That alone shows everything anyone needs to know about you people and how you allow propaganda and dog whstles to lead you around by the noses.

It is Trump’s senior staff who believe him incapable of running the country, in the editorial and Woodward’s and Wolf’s books – and “honorable mention” to Omorosa’s book and many others, all say the say thing, Trump is a buffoon and multiple synonyms to that effect are used to reflect the senior staff’s opinions.

[h1]Navarro Memo Falsely Accusing Colleague of Being ‘Anonymous’ Led to her Transfer[/h1]
Former Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro penned a [link=https://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000177-ef37-d750-a77f-ffb703c00000]15-page dossier[/link] falsely accusing his colleague Victoria Coates of being Anonymous, [link=https://www.politico.com/news/2021/03/02/peter-navarro-victoria-coates-anonymous-472025]Politico[/link] reports.

The December 2019 memo goes into great detail to make the case that Coates who was then a deputy national security adviser was the author of both the [i]New York Times[/i] op-ed and a [link=https://amzn.to/3uMy9XS]tell-all book[/link] that described a resistance force within the administration aiming to undermine President Donald Trump.

Coates, who is not named in the memo but is clearly identified through specific information, [link=https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/20/top-national-security-aide-anonymous-book-116325]was transferred out of the White House[/link] to the Department of Energy in February, just weeks after Navarro wrote and circulated the document.
