    Radiologist here

Hospital has GE Centricity PACS and Nuance Powerscribe 360. Currently read from home on occasion after hours with laptop connected to 32″ LG monitor via HDMI. When I try to extend display (would like to have Centricity on external monitor and Powerscribe on laptop screen), Centricity becomes distorted. I was told that with this setup, the best I can do is duplicate my display, and that I would either need a desktop w/ a Barco/Eizo video card or my laptop connected to a Barco/Eizo monitor to accomplish what I want. Of note, a colleague told me he is able to use a laptop connected to an external monitor via VGA without issues.

Any thoughts from those who work with Centricity?  Thanks in advance.

What I have noticed with GE centricity RA1000 and windows 10 is that it is really sensitive with Scaling.  Make sure that the scaling on both monitors are the same (100%) or you will have issues.  Also under advanced scaling settings, turn off fix scaling for apps.
