The presidents executive order sweeps aside 140 years of federal policy promoting professional expertise.[/h2]
On Wednesday, the president signed an [link=http://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-creating-schedule-f-excepted-service/]executive order[/link] creating a new category of federal employees. Top officials could classify positions as having a confidential, policy-determining, policy-making, or policy-advocating character. Then they could sweep employees holding those positions into a new Schedule F, where employees would lose all [link=https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/5/2302]protections[/link], including those against discrimination, forced reassignments and relocations, and any rights to organize or appeal personnel decisions, for example. Most important, employees could be dismissed for any reason whatsoever.

Something needs to be done about 90+% of career bureaucrats being Dem/liberals but I’m not sure this is it… It would be pretty annoying to be President and have almost everyone within DC hate you and actively work against you in all ways.

So screen all Federal employees to ensure they not only belong to The Party but think correctly also? And back that up with Party apparatchiks to constantly monitor your loyalty to the Dear Leader?
I think North Korea and Russia and the rest can keep that for their governments & keep the idea that Americans can each and all hold different ideas that aren’t measured as loyalty & disloyalty to the president. It’s why people swear to uphold the Constitution and the Rule of Law instead of swearing allegiance to the president & Party in power.

No!. Absolutely NO! I have no idea that 90% of government employees are Democratic. Nor should that be anyone’s concern for employment.
But that said & if your point is true, why are we going to allow 2/3 of the Supreme Court to be Republicans then?
That’s a problem, don’t you agree? It means they will all vote the same way because of party affiliation, damn the legal arguments. Although it does prove that Originalism and Textualism are nothing but sheep’s clothing.-
The notion that the career law & order types in the FBI, the CIA and the other 3-letter-agencies are all Democrats … or ever majority democrats … is a falsehood propagated by Trump in order to justify purges and to train Republicans to ignore/disregard their findings.
