An SUV drove through a crowd of Black Lives Matter protesters on bicycles in Manhattans Flatiron District, a [link=https://m.twitch.tv/thizzl/clip/EnticingDelightfulManateeAMPTropPunch]video[/link] captured on Saturday night shows.
The cyclists were heading south on Fifth Avenue around 7:00 p.m. as part of a Justice Ride when a black Infinity SUV sped up and drove through them.
Several people struck by the car were visible lying in the street. Police [link=https://nypost.com/2020/10/04/people-injured-as-driver-plows-into-a-blm-justice-ride-in-nyc/]told[/link] the New York Post a 19-year-old woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Bellevue Hospital and that a 37-year-old man declined medical assistance.
The driver, who sped into the cyclists around 25[sup]th[/sup] Street, remained at large as of Sunday morning.Since protests against police brutality and racism began in late May after the death of George Floyd, there have been several incidents of motorists appearing to plow through them deliberately.

Yes. A very scary thing to see right wing vigilante “justice” that borders on treason …
so, of course the presidential reply should be ….
[b]Trump Says Whitmer Is Sowing Division[/b][/h1]
Shortly after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) addressed the public regarding [link=https://politicalwire.com/2020/10/08/michigan-militia-plotted-to-kidnap-gretchen-whitmer/]an elaborate kidnapping plot[/link] thwarted by FBI, the White House released a statement on behalf of President Trump, who was directly mentioned in Whitmers press conference, [link=https://www.wxyz.com/news/militia-kidnapping-plot/gov-whitmer-is-sowing-division-white-house-responds-after-whitmer-addresses-kidnapping-plot]WXYZ[/link] reports.
Said the statement: Governor Whitmer is sowing division by making these outlandish allegations. America stands united against hate and in support of our federal law enforcement who stopped this plot.

[h2][link=https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-trump-and-covid-19-have-reshaped-the-modern-militia-movement/]How Trump And COVID-19 Have Reshaped The Modern Militia Movement[/link][/h2]
While established militias are kind of like a heavily armed scout troop formal organizations with ranks and membership dues and training programs and regular meetings some academics argue that many people who are falling into the militia movements orbit these days are more like loosely affiliated individuals. Members is a strong word for this kind of community, with lots of people drifting along, sharing memes online or showing up, guns in tow, to protests despite having no clear ties to any specific group. Even the organized, club-like militias dont ascribe to a single overarching ideology, which makes it especially difficult to figure out what motivates individuals
…The rise of President Trump, and the tumultuous events of 2020, have made it even more difficult to untangle what militias are doing and what their individual adherents believe. From the beginning of his candidacy, Trumps rhetoric [link=https://apnews.com/d976ab2b204ac14b220d5bf6dc565b2d]his attacks on the deep state[/link] or [link=https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/03/15/short-history-president-trumps-anti-muslim-bigotry/]the anti-Muslim[/link] and [link=https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2019/08/08/trump-immigrants-rhetoric-criticized-el-paso-dayton-shootings/1936742001/]anti-immigrant[/link] insults that peppered his tweets and speeches have [link=https://www.lawfareblog.com/armed-militias-are-taking-trumps-civil-war-tweets-seriously]resonated with and garnered public responses from[/link] people within the militia movement. When Trump [link=https://www.lawfareblog.com/armed-militias-are-taking-trumps-civil-war-tweets-seriously]tweeted about an impending civil war[/link] or warned about threats from the left, it brought extremist theories and conversations into the national conversation. With Trump, the fringe entered the mainstream, said [link=https://crws.berkeley.edu/people]Lawrence Rosenthal[/link], the chair and lead researcher of the Berkeley Center for Right-Wing Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
The pandemic and the racial injustice protests that have roiled cities throughout the summer appear to have brought even more people into the militia movements orbit. Suddenly, people were at home all day, [link=https://www.kff.org/coronavirus-covid-19/report/kff-health-tracking-poll-july-2020/]feeling anxious and fearful[/link] about the future and [link=https://www.wsj.com/articles/coronavirus-lockdown-tested-internets-backbone-11597503600]spending a [i]lot[/i] more time online[/link]. Many in the militia movement chafed at state lockdown orders, and started appearing, heavily armed, at [link=https://www.npr.org/2020/05/14/855918852/heavily-armed-protesters-gather-again-at-michigans-capitol-denouncing-home-order]state capitols[/link] [link=https://www.sacbee.com/news/local/crime/article242622151.html]across the country[/link] to protest what they saw as an assault on their individual freedoms. Its the same central narrative about government tyranny: I have the right to get a haircut, you dont have the right to tell us we have to shelter in place, said [link=https://www.cynthiamilleridriss.com/]Cynthia Miller-Idriss[/link], a sociologist at American University, where she runs the Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab.
…its better to think of them as radical libertarians, who wanted drastically less government, or maybe different government. So when their man is in office, its an easier pivot for them to say not all government is bad, but we dont need to target the White House anymore, he said.
But targeting opponents of the White House means a drastic change in the character of the American militia movement, said [link=https://www.hartford.edu/directory/hillyer/churchill-robert.aspx]Robert Churchill[/link], a history professor at the University of Hartford who extensively researched the militia movement of the 1990s. The majority of militia members back then were radical libertarians, he said, agreeing with Jackson, but their opposition to the federal government broadly meant they werent a partisan force. In fact, that definition of militias small, armed groups of civilians fighting against the government has characterized these kinds of movements throughout American history, Churchill told us.
Until now. Given the way things are changing, the people who study the militia movement and have spent years talking to its members think theres a risk of American militias becoming more like the militias of other, often politically unstable, countries.[b] What matters is if the movement becomes essentially a more traditional Latin American pro-regime paramilitary, which seems to be what Trump is trying to create or wants,[/b] Churchill said.[/QUOTE]

“Governor Whitmer of Michigan has done a terrible job. She locked down her state for everyone, except her husbands boating activities. The Federal Government provided tremendous help to the Great People of Michigan. My Justice Department and Federal Law Enforcement announced…
…today that they foiled a dangerous plot against the Governor of Michigan. Rather than say thank you, she calls me a White Supremacistwhile Biden and Democrats refuse to condemn Antifa, Anarchists, Looters and Mobs that burn down Democrat run cities…
…I do not tolerate ANY extreme violence. Defending ALL Americans, even those who oppose and attack me, is what I will always do as your President! Governor Whitmeropen up your state, open up your schools, and open up your churches!”-
Hmmm, isn’t a primary argument for the 2nd Amendment and “2nd Amendment solutions” that the Constitution grants the “right” to violently overthrow the government, according to the Federalist & other right-wing beliefs? So they were exercising or trying to exercise such a right?
Somehow I think the belief in reactionary stupidities justifying violence is going to run smack into reality. “You mean we can’t violently overthrow the government?”-
It goes deep —
[link=https://www.wxyz.com/news/local-news/michigan/man-charged-in-plot-to-kidnap-whitmer-shared-stage-with-west-michigan-sheriff-at-rally]https://www.wxyz.com/news…higan-sheriff-at-rally[/link]
Western Michigan Sheriff who shared the stage with the Domestic Terrorists interviewed about the event implies that they were in their rights to make a citizen’s arrest of Governor Whitmer:
Q: Do you have any regrets about being on stage, sharing a stage with a guy whos now being charged in a plot to kidnap the governor?
Sheriff Leaf: Its just a charge, and they say a ‘plot to kidnap’ and you got to remember that. Are they trying to kidnap? Because a lot of people are angry with the governor, and they want her arrested. So are they trying to arrest or was it a kidnap attempt? Because you can still in Michigan if it’s a felony, make a felony arrest.”
I think it’s [link=http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(kgavcxv2klpo45zetkuwph0w))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=mcl-764-4]MCL 764.4,[/link] [link=http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(kgavcxv2klpo45zetkuwph0w))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=mcl-764-5]764.5[/link] somewhere on there [[link=http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(2mmer4cncqzm20lnl3pzqn0y))/mileg.aspx?page=GetObject&objectname=mcl-764-16]MCL 764.16[/link]]and it doesn’t say if you are an elected office that you’re exempt from that arrest. I have to look at it from that angle and Im hoping that’s more what it is, in fact, these guys are innocent till proven guilty so Im not even sure if they had any part of it.”

[b]Trump Is Complicit[/b][/h1]
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) writes in the [link=https://wapo.st/2GzpAeN]Washington Post[/link]:
[blockquote] When I addressed the people of Michigan on Thursday to comment on the unprecedented terrorism, conspiracy and weapons charges against 13 men, some of whom were preparing to kidnap and possibly kill me, I said, Hatred, bigotry and violence have no place in the great state of Michigan. I meant it. But just moments later, President Trumps campaign adviser, Jason Miller, appeared on national television accusing me of fostering hatred.
Im not going to waste my time arguing with the president. But I will always hold him accountable. Because when our leaders speak, their words carry weight.
When our leaders encourage domestic terrorists, they legitimize their actions. When they stoke and contribute to hate speech, they are complicit. And when a sitting president stands on a national stage refusing to condemn white supremacists and hate groups, as President Trump did when he told the Proud Boys to stand back and stand by during the first presidential debate, he is complicit. Hate groups heard the presidents words not as a rebuke, but as a rallying cry. As a call to action.

[b]Investigation into letter threatening Biden supporters underway in Maryland
[/b]
The Frederick Police Department says its agency and the Secret Service are investigating the letter, which home security footage shows was left by a man at the front door of a residence early Sunday morning.
Police said in a [link=https://www.cityoffrederickmd.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=6374]statement[/link] Thursday that “the threatening letter was political in nature” and “referred to several political figures in the U.S. government,” prompting the Secret Service to get involved.
“The beginning of the letter makes some general threats about people supporting particular candidates,” Frederick police Lt. Kirk Henneberry told local Baltimore NBC affiliate [link=https://www.wbaltv.com/article/frederick-letter-left-at-home-apparent-attempt-to-intimidate-voters/34304969]WBAL[/link].
The letter then reportedly states, “If you are a Biden-Harris supporter, you will be targeted. We have a list of homes by your election signs. We will not comply or give anything up, especially our guns.”
Local authorities said the letter specifically threatens to beat Democratic presidential nominee [link=https://thehill.com/people/joe-biden]Joe Biden[/link] and rape vice presidential nominee [link=https://thehill.com/people/kamala-harris]Kamala Harris[/link].
“Our concern is we give that information to the authorities, the Secret Service, and make sure they have all the information they need to follow up and investigate,” Henneberry said.
The letter also appears to threaten former Arizona Rep. [link=https://thehill.com/person/gabby-giffords]Gabby Giffords[/link] (D), who has become a strong supporter of gun control legislation after she was critically wounded in a 2011 shooting.

Whitmer has actually done illegal things. I can name them (extending emergency orders beyond her power, etc).
You still can’t name 1 thing President Trump has done that is unconstitutional or illegal. Go ahead and try.
No, the fake Mueller investigation, which went nowhere, doesn’t count. Nor do all the other tries to soft coup him.

far right movement infiltrating law enforcement at the Sheriff level

Two-term Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols was given the award Sheriff of the Year last month by a right-wing group that promotes county sheriffs as the last hope in resisting state and federal laws they deem tyrannical.
The award came from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), a group that observers say is trying to make inroads into law
enforcement agencies to promote sheriff supremacy, the idea that sheriffs authority supersedes that of all other state and federal officials on issues such as immigration and gun control.CSPOA founder [link=https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/intelligence-report/2012/former-arizona-sheriff-richard-mack-seeks-%E2%80%98army%E2%80%99-sheriffs-resist-federal-authority]Richard Mack[/link], a former sheriff in Arizona, is affiliated with the anti-government patriot movement, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

This is not Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia where you are asked for your papers! he wrote in a Facebook post on April 1. We will not be setting up a Police State. PERIOD.
In the article, [link=https://www.themarshallproject.org/2020/05/18/the-rise-of-the-anti-lockdown-sheriffs]The Rise of The Anti-Lockdown Sheriffs[/link], [i]The Marshall Project[/i], a journalism organization focused on criminal justice issues, found that at least 60 sheriffs nationwide publicly opposed restrictions issued by their governors most of them Democrats.
The stay-at-home orders are just the latest opportunity for sheriffs to get noticed, particularly in states with Democratic governors, the report reads. While police chiefs are appointed and thus insulated from politics, sheriffs are elected and many have built their reputations by defying state and federal laws in areas ranging from immigration to gun control.[/QUOTE]

[link=https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/22/white-supremacists-rightwing-domestic-terror-2020][b]White supremacists have been behind the majority of US domestic terror attacks in 2020[/b]
[/link]
White supremacists and other rightwing extremists have been responsible for 67% of domestic terror attacks and plots so far this year, with at least half of that violence targeting protesters, according to a new analysis from a centrist thinktank.
The report found only a single deadly far-left attack in 2020, the shooting of Aaron Danielson, a rightwing activist, by a self-described anti-fascist during a protest in Portland this August. Experts on extremism said this was the [link=https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jul/27/us-rightwing-extremists-attacks-deaths-database-leftwing-antifa]first killing linked to an anti-fascist[/link] in the United States in 25 years.
Violent rightwing actors were responsible for 41 politically motivated attacks and plots this year, while far-left actors were responsible for 12, according to analysts at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), who have assembled a database of domestic terror attacks going back to 1994.

[h1][b]Boogaloo Bois Fired on Minneapolis Police[/b][/h1]
In the wake of protests following the May 25 killing of George Floyd, a member of the Boogaloo Bois opened fire on Minneapolis Police Third Precinct with an AK-47-style gun and screamed Justice for Floyd as he ran away, according to a federal complaint made public Friday, the [link=https://www.startribune.com/charges-boogaloo-bois-fired-on-mpls-precinct-shouted-justice-for-floyd/572843802/]Minneapolis Star Tribune[/link] reports.
A sworn affidavit by the FBI underlying the complaint reveals new details about a far-right anti-government groups coordinated role in the violence that roiled through civil unrest over Floyds death while in police custody.

[b]FBI won’t release Domestic Terrorism Report ahead of the election as legally required in the NDAA[/b]
In June, the bureau was supposed to release a report compiling a wealth of currently unavailable data on domestic terrorism, a category that includes white supremacist violence. The most recent National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) [link=https://rules.house.gov/sites/democrats.rules.house.gov/files/CRPT-116hrpt333.pdf]requires[/link] the FBI, in accord with Department of Homeland Security and consultation with the Office of Director of National Intelligence, specify not only known acts of domestic terrorism, but ideologies relating to domestic terrorism, and what the FBI and its partners are doing to combat it all.
Yet the FBI is over four months late. While President Trump falsely portrays [link=https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-antifa-threat-is-total-bullshitand-totally-dangerous]left-wing property damage as terrorism[/link], suspicion is building that the FBI, whose director Christopher Wray is [link=https://www.thedailybeast.com/how-team-trump-keeps-twisting-the-real-election-threat?ref=author]on the outs with Trump[/link], will keep the public from seeing the scope of its premier terror threat before an election that may feature violence emerging from it.
The FBI did not deny that the report will not be in time for the election.
The report referenced is a joint product in coordination with ODNI and DHS. NDAA language breaks the report into two parts. Due to limitations caused by COVID-19, Part 1 of the report is in the interagency review process. Part 2 is still being drafted. The FBI is committed to continuing with ODNI and DHS on the report and meeting NDAA requirements, an FBI official said in a statement to The Daily Beast.
The domestic terrorism report mandated by the NDAA is supposed to include everything from how many agents and intelligence analysts the FBI and DHS assign to domestic terror; to a tally of violent incidents stretching back to 2009; to the rankings of domestic terrorism in relations to other threats in each of the FBIs 56 field offices. Its also supposed to detail the necessity of changing authorities, roles, resources or responsibilities within the Federal Government to more effectively prevent and counter domestic terrorism activities.
Its entire purpose is to fill a critical knowledge gapto understand prevalence, particularly of white supremacist violence, said Elizabeth Neumann, who from March 2018 to April 2020 was the assistant secretary for counterterrorism at DHS. How big a problem do we have? We cant answer that in the United States.
Wray testified to the House Homeland Security Committee that white supremacist violence is the biggest chunk of domestic terrorism. Thats an indirect way of acknowledging that white supremacist terrorism, not jihadist terrorism, is the major terrorist threat the United States faces in 2020. It should be obvious: white supremacist terrorism draws from 400 years of American history. No other form of terrorism is as deadly, resilient and authentically American. -

Part of the reason for the Cabinets investigation is to make sure the presentation was an isolated incident, Beshear said. The governor said he wants to ensure training for the states largest law enforcement agency is where it should be for the world we live in right now. We are committed to making this right.-
Yes, i read that.
Pretty sickening what police are being inculcated to believe. Violence.
Mein Kampf. Their struggle indeed. doesn’t seem like they are struggling so much, especially not with their consciences.

[b]West Virginia man arrested for selling machine conversion parts to Right-Wing Boogaloo movement
[/b]
Timothy John Watson, 30, was charged after he was arrested in early September for allegedly running a website claiming to sell wall hangers that authorities said could be actually used to turn semi-automatic AR-15 rifles into fully automatic machine guns.
Authorities said the devices were sold to supporters of the anti-government boogaloo movement, the code word they use for their talk of a second civil war. Their prominence has grown during the pandemic as many dressed in Hawaiian shirts and camouflage garb, sometimes toting guns, attended protests against government shutdowns.
Prosecutors said Watsons customers include an Air Force sergeant in California accused of shooting and killing a federal security officer and of injuring several security personnel in May and June. Authorities said Staff Sgt. Steven Carrillo had used a homemade AR-15-style rifle in two shootings and wore gear with references to the boogaloo movement.
