  • DEXA Fracture Risk for younger than 40, older than 90?

Posted by cnoller on October 16, 2020 at 11:44 am

DEXA question – how do you report fracture risk for patients (not pediatric) below the age of 40 and over the age of 90?  Do you provide the FRAX probabilities with the disclaimer that if the patient is younger than 40 or older than 90, then the probabilities reflect those of a 40 or 90 year old, respectively, as how it looks to be done on the FRAX tool website?

Or do you do something else? Any help is much appreciated!
