    Any Ambra users around?  Ever see a problem where it sends over gigantic files?  We have had issues where it might send a file that is like 50, 60, 100+ GB in size.  The PACS cannot process those and really nothing I know of can.  So it ends up choking up the DICOM SCP.  WE have to stop it and delete the files.  
     
    We’re just a spoke to other accounts but from my experience the Ambra service has been terrible.  You can’t get responses to your support tickets and it’s really a patient care issue when we can’t get electronic transfers from facilities that use Ambra.

    Ambra was sold to Intelerad back in October for a measly $1.7B. You might want to contact Intelerad instead of Ambra directly.

      we were on a call with their execs already once.  Nothing happens.  When we first had the issue the support person made it sound like their was  exodus of staff.  I wasn’t sure if that was intelerad cuts or people leaving.  But you can’t get call backs, or email replies.  It’s a mess.

    On the plus side, Ambra responded this week to a ticket I opened via e-mail in February, and were responsive and helpful.

      Ambra is terrible. Its been nothing but a nightmare for 2 years. 
      it was down last week for the majority of 2 days. Its down all the time. Customer support is the worst I’ve ever encountered. We are dumping them and moving to another PACS

    We use Ambra quite a bit, but have never had the issue you’re describing. 
    Fyi, we have also had some bad experiences with support, but I can say that it’s slowly starting to improve. We are also an Intelerad site, so we’ve been in communication with the support manager quite a bit. They recognize the issue and are training a lot of folks to get back up to speed.
