Interesting. So you can loiter to engage in prostitution, but you can’t loiter for any other purposes ?

In general it seems like it would be better for the hos to bring the oldest profession above board.  Run brothels or something like out by Vegas.  Make sure the stable of hos is taken care of.

It should be legal, taxed and regulated. There is no harmful societal impact from a sex worker who gets tested on a regular basis.

This guy was the coolest wrestler for like a year.  Not sure why this thread got me thinking about the godfather and the ho train.

I was thinking of answering exactly the same. My mother, born in Europe always told me this anti-sex thing was insane. A barbaric holdover from Middle Eastern religions. Legalize it and regulate it. It’s worked.

Not crazy about the “hos” reference tho’. The hos in my mind are the ones selling Jesus for profit, not sex.

Agree, if they are doing it of their free will and are not trapped in a trafficking ring. There was a very interesting podcast I listened to recently, maybe This American Life?, where they told the story of a woman that got trapped in a trafficking scheme, got out, recovered her life through legal sex work and then made destitute again by the dismantling of sites that helped her become financially independent. All in the name of helping women and girls avoid being trafficked. Lots of unintended consequences in both directions.

I guess law enforcement will be down to only the classic use of the loitering statutes …
