    Is there any cut off value of diameter of bowel in plain x ray supine in neonate in order to say dilated bowel?

    If the bowel is larger than the interpediculate distance of L2, it is dilated.  That being said, after looking at enough of these, your eye will immediately know dilated vs non dilated bowel.

      I should say larger than the INTERPEDICULAR distance of L2.

          I wouldn’t use numerical cutoffs in kids
