Breast Imaging Fellowship Opening 2025-2026
Breast Imaging Fellowship Position Opening 2025-2026
There is an opening for our Breast Imaging Fellowship at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX. Fellows at our institution will receive excellent and extensive training in digital mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound and contrast-enhanced Breast MRI. Additionally, the fellow will become skilled in performing all breast procedures utilizing ultrasound, mammography and MRI guidance.
The fellow actively participates in weekly multidisciplinary breast-specific tumor boards with the breast surgeons, pathologists, oncologists and plastic surgeons. The fellow will also be involved with resident training and teaching.
Weekend call duties are minimal (2-3 weekends a year) and fellows will work one day of the week in a non-breast rotation so as to maintain efficiency in other areas of radiology. Ample moonlighting opportunities are also available. Fellows will be given progressive autonomy during the year as well. Our fellow will learn to function in a patient-centered, high-volume practice with a variety of pathology. Graduates of our fellowship program will be able to efficiently work in both private practice and academic centers.
