I think it would easily get a 2/3 majority.
Most Democrats are against gay marriage. Basically anyone in a purple or red state would have to vote for the ban.
And, there are many more conservative states than liberal ones…and it is questionable if states like California wouldn’t vote for the ban. Likely, but not impossible.
I don’t know…the constitutinal amendment track scares me more…
