    Here is the dichotomy of by belief system.

    I don’t think government should define marriage at all, and shouldn’t use marriage as a way to give benefits to some people versus others.  Marriage IS a religious definition.

    That said, if government is going to define marriage, then the voters have every right to define it the way they want.  So in the current environment, I am not against the California proposition.

    Do my thoughts give any of you a headache?  I know it gives my friends fits.

    People call me hypocritical on this issue…I don’t think I am being a hypocrite.  I think that government should be limited, and that includes restricting itself from defining marriage.  Why the hell should the government be alllowed to define marriage?  To me it doesn’t make any sense.

    The more government gets out of these issues, the better as far as I am concerned.

    Funny, I bet I am more ‘liberal’ on this issue than even most Democrats.
