Derm, allergy, etc…they would bore me to death.
What is so great about Derm? Looking at skin (and fat people) all day? Um, no thank you.
Any branch of medicine is similar…I like certain things about medicine, but to me it seems like such drudgery.
As for pain…hell, that would be painful. Most of the patients you deal with are drug seekers.
Even in hindsight, I would never have picked anything else. Is rads perfect? NO. Are there good things about the other fields? Sure. To each his own.
But I LOVE Radiology.
