Two weeks ago I did a Virgin Voyages cruise through Spain and France. $5K/room with a balcony and hammock, everything on the boat included. I booked two rooms – for my parents and my girlfriend and I. 2 months before that I did the 4 day, 45km, 4200m+ elevation, Inca trail to Machu Picchu. I couldn’t have done this if I didn’t take 8 months off after the military to travel. Those are experiences I will remember forever.
Life is not lived measuring a lung nodule to make worthless currency. If people figured out how money / currency actually worked they wouldn’t be so obsessed with trading their time for dollars.
I likely missed something but you retired after working 5-6 years as a radiologist and can still afford 10K vacation?

Got it. Thanks…They should write a book/start a website, becoming wealthy thru real estate at age 38 despite going to college.med school, residency, fellowship and ?military service is impressive.
