  • Radiology conferences outside US

Posted by clocksticking on September 16, 2023 at 5:43 pm

    Friends,

I have never been to a Radiology conference outside US, and I would like to explore. If you have been to conferences in Europe, Australia/NZ, Africa or Middle East, please let me know your thoughts. That would be very helpful.

    Thanks so much!

The ECR is a great conference. I’ve been at least 6 times. Vienna is a great city. It’s always the same weekend (first weekend in March) every year.

The weather is variable… might be snowing, might be sunny and in the 50s or 60s.

I used that congress as a jumping off point for tons of European travel. 4 days at the Vienna congress then off to Prague/Budapest/Munich/Salzburg/Venice etc

      _________

If you’re an MSK person, the ISS is a great location meeting too. It alternates between North America on even years ( Montreal in 2024) and Europe on odd years.

I’ve been to Edinburgh, Berlin, France, others.

    https://diagnosticimagingupdate.com/

This website has some very non-academic looking radiology conferences in very cool places.

Seems like a nice way to get some CME
