IS THIS A FOREIGN BODY
<font color=”#000000″ size=”4″>I am aware of a foreign object that was projected through my eardrum. Despite negative results from an CT scan and a conventional X-ray at regional radiology in Naples, FL, I noticed an anomaly on the X-ray indicating a foreign body present. This object, approximately 5 millimeters long, has a flat side with two nodular shapes running vertically and a convex curve on top, clearly distinct from human or bone anatomy. Although it did not appear on a temporal bone CT scan, it is visibly located in front of the air cells. When consulting with my ear, nose, and throat doctor who dismissed it as insignificant, I persisted by pointing out the anomaly on the X-ray which he claimed to be part of the bone structure despite its obvious dissimilarity. Even after using an AI imaging program online that indicated no foreign object present, I remain concerned about its presence. Can you please provide your professional opinion on this matter?
