I think this is better, much more in line with modern forums. The ability to see direct replies instead of repeating large portions of texts is helpful. Hopefully, the upcoming changes will be just as beneficial,

disagree. The spacing is horrid and the colors on the page are white and dull. Impossible to read. I don’t know who these companies get to test their products but this is a huge fail. Changes should be enhancements and make it easier to interact.

Not impossible to read – I read yours. Threading the responses is big. (and way overdue).

Any change will be hated by some. Guaranteed.

I will say this – there should be some FAQ file… Like – “To quote a part of a post – do this.. To do an advanced search – do this… and so on.

To link a file… do this.

To embed an image.. do this.

And so on..

OK, been messing with it for a few minutes -and I tend to agree with others that this software is a real problem.

As I noted – I can’t readily find an FAQ file. So, I may be missing something but,

1) can’t upload image. Important for radiology, perhaps?

2) can’t quote a prior message to pull out one statement to react to. (perhaps simple cut and paste)

3) Is PM gone entirely? this was, I think, somewhat important.

4) as pointed out above – where is the advanced search capability? Rather important.

Admins – I would suggest you respond to these and others’ questions. Have we simply not discovered the functions? Or are they truly gone?

There are perfectly functional software packages to run forums. They allow for banner ads, integration with a main site, attachment management, pictures everything.

This is just abysmal. Was this a project at some computer summer camp for 9th graders ?
