“Amyloid PET scans improve outcomes in AD patients” is a truly shameful headline as used to highlight the findings of an article which itself concludes that “use of amyloid PET was not associated with a significant reduction in 12-month hospitalizations or ED visits,” and further amplifies this with the key point statement, “use of amyloid PET was not associated with a significant reduction in hospitalizations or ED visits in Medicare beneficiaries with cognitive decline.” (btw, how are you able to sleep at night, printing things that not only so blatantly misrepresent the truth but, perhaps more importantly, have the potential to cause widespread harm to a significant portion of the population?)

Not to worry .. this website doesn’t reach any laymen of significance. And the dwindling number of professionals it does reach know better.

Thanks for your response, Kyte… then I suppose I need to edit my response to say, “an insignificant portion…”?

Sure, you might consider editing to “have the potential to cause widespread harm to the 5 users who browse this website”
