Working for Mayo Clinic

I always thought it was close to mgma median, just like Cleveland clinic. Thats what I know from rads I know at CCF. The person I know at Mayo is in a different specialty, but compensation set up cant be much different.
The only problem with relatively high compensation employed gigs at CCF and Mayo is much less vacation (~5-6 weeks/yr)

Don’t forget: high overall exam complexity, many tumor boards, lots of bureaucratic committees/emails, publishing is a favorable. It needs to be the right fit to work.

Most the rads are verifiable experts, because they are clinical rads seeing it all. This is not always true for academicians; as there is a wide spectrum of expertise and pseudoexpertise.
Mayo rads are treated well, and have all the bells and whistles available for research and teaching as desired.-
