I watched the first one. It didnt really hook me though so Ive got it saved. I enjoyed the first season so hopefully season 2 gets on that track.
Ive been watching Wellington Paranormal on HBOMax. Its from New Zealand. Jemaine Clements show about police looking i to paranormal stuff. Its given me some good laughs.

Recently finished the Dahmer series on Netflix…Dark but very well done. Great writing and acting.
-
White Lotus is not what I was expecting. Watch some episodes. Feels like a a bunch of characters in different stories at a resort. Maybe a little like the Steve Zissou style movie. Has a lot of that style music interweaved.
Not sure Id recommend but Ive come to far not to finish.
Finished the 6th and final episode. It’s not that great of a show IMO.-
Just started “The Servant” on AppleTV. Overall decent so far. Somehow related to M.Night Shyamalan.

Big Mouth season just came on Netflix. I find it pretty funny but I can see how the type of humor would not be for everyone.

already binged it
mrs_dergon loves the show.
there’s a lot (and I mean a lot ) of overtly sexual raunch that’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
But I find my myself laughing out loud nearly every minute or two every episode.-
While not a binge per se I liked the Weird Al movie on the Roku channel. Roku Channel has some solid content and it’s F-R-E-E. The Mrs Mapleworth Murders on their was pretty funny. They’ve got some new Reno 911 stuff that’s funny.
-
Larry Sanders Show.
Started when I was 12. So I wouldnt have watched.
I told you I could act. I was in Airplane 2.
-
This shows a time capsule. All kinds of cameos in it. Alex Trbek, Bob Saget, and its funny.
-
-
So I finished the Skow Horses season one. Its pretty good. Going to start season 2. Its always a bonus when you get hooked and youre late to the game. So 2 seasons are available.

mother-in-law brought us Yellowstone on DVD … season 1-4
-
I’ve gotten to binge some TV at night while on PTO. The Season 2 Slow Horses was good. Only 6 episodes so it’s not a huge commitment. The Gary Oldman character character is great. It’s got previews for a season so there’s one in the pipeline.
The new Jack Ryan season I enjoyed as well.
Still haven’t seen Yellowstone but definitely want to.-
Finished the 6 episode “The Investigation” (Efterforksningen) last night. Very good. Easily three episodes at once type.
-
Barney Miller. Im enjoying it. Think its from the 70s.
-
WKRP and Taxi were good too. I kind of enjoy these older shows that were from before my time. Want to check out Newhart too

Just finished the final episode of His Dark Materials on HBO
I read the books some 25 years ago and was really moved by them.
The HBO version was pretty good (I personally think there should have been 4-5 more episodes in order to stat closer to the books and flesh things out further) but it was *much* better than the first movie attempt
-
Just binge watched 1899. Loved it. Made for fans of Dark.
-
Gave mythic quest a second shot. Kind of enjoying. When F Murray Abraham is like Im gonna poop in your desk daddio.

Watched the last of us. Its alright. Feels like it has some waking dead plot lines to it.
Also the show The Recruit on Netflix. its king of like spy with some workplace shenanigans.
-
West Wing is surprising ahead of its time with its writing. Im still watching. Theres even stuff about Colorado river and drought. Which is a problem now. Just a lot of stuff in there that are current events.

has it been HD remastered?
I tried re-watching a few years ago and it was so grainy.
-
The first season or so was not HD. So you can tell it’s maybe a little off but it’s watchable. As it goes on I don’t see a discernable difference. I’m getting into the part of the story where the staffers are running the campaigns to replace Jeb Bartlett. So I can kind of see the tracks coming to an end. There’s a lot of times where I’m thinking to myself “no $h1t, Aaron Sorkin wrote about this 15-20 years ago”

Supposedly the show The Diplomat on Netflix is like the West Wing
-
Documentary Now. Some are funnier than others. The Cult, bowling, and globe salesman.

It’s just OK. Gets pretty unbelievable pretty fast.
If you really like the Americans and Keri Russel in it you’ll probably like it. But … just ok imho-
Just started Welcome to Wrexham, documentary series following Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney after they buy a lower division Welsh football club in a depressed old steel town and try to get them promoted.
I like it.
-
I watched some of that. I enjoyed. I think they just won something. Like maybe the champs in their league.

Documentary Now. How They Threw Rocks.
[link=https://www.avclub.com/documentary-now-review-season-4-episode-4-how-the-1849731090]https://www.avclub.com/do…e-4-how-the-1849731090[/link]
“I didnt have to spend long doing that with How They Threw Rocks, though, because said turn arrives swiftly, and with all the clarity of a massive stone being chucked at someones head. Becauseits a stone, getting chucked at a guys head, a.k.a. our introduction to the exciting Welsh sport of Craig Maes. As explained, first by the irreplaceable Helen Mirren, and then by the talking heads in the doc itself, Craig Maes (literally: Field rock) is the time-honored sport of two men standing in a sheep pen, throwing rocks as hard as they can at one another until one can no longer stand.”-
Rabbit Hole (Paramount), Fatal Attractions (Paramount), and Citadel (Amazon Prime) were some of the recent ones I watched. Diplomat (Netflix) was more of a cheap drama, nothing special. Started White House Plumbers (HBO Max), but found it a bit boring. Last season of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon Prime) was a complete waste of time.
-
this Mrs Maisel one seemed weird with the jumping time line, and characters seemed to get abrupt endings.
I think you should leave is back on Netflix for season 3.-
Started watching Suits on Netflix. I think it was USA show. Its not bad. Little dramady.
USA has had a couple good shows. I liked Monk from them too.
-
Just finished Queen Charlotte, the Bridgerton prequel.
I really liked them all. Not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s a Shonda Rhimes stylized fictional Victorian England. … A Downton Abbey with a heavy dose of romance novel.
