These reviews are awesome! I attended first as an R1 just trying to find my feet in nuclear medicine. Went through the review cases during my training and then attended the webinar 2 more times before my boards. Content is easy to understand and covers what is necessary.

I took this course Last weekend. It was a great board focused review for some very difficult topics, specifically RISE and Nucs!!!  I plan on retaking this course before the Core Exam in June. There are several easy to remember pearls that are taken away from the lectures.  In addition to the podcast, an additional 400 questions are provided.

Tips for the Core exam, based on the 2017 exam:

-don’t go to exam center (especially AZ) very early, as line forms outside the center based on exam time, and waiting in AZ sun can be tiring
-once inside, your picture will be taken and access card printed. you will access your locker, put your stuff away and then enter the exam room.
-last year we had 360 q on day 1 and 300 on day 2 with 30 min breaks each day. pace yourself well, flag the questions u wanna coma back to, and make sure to annotate in the system when u take a break.
          -there will be some normals
          -know the vascular anatomy variants
-know body MRI sequences and appearances of pathology
-know ALL occupational/regulatory radiation limits (expect more than 1 question on this)
-know the energies of commonly used radionuclides (expect more than 1 question on this)
-know the QC of Nuc Med equipment
-know all your artifacts, on all modalities
-know the follow up criteria for lung nodules and ovarian cysts
-expect simple calculations based questions on HVL, and Radioactive decay

Join my webinar course on May 19th (Saturday) and May 20th (Sunday) to learn Nuc Med and RIS.

          Best of Luck!!

Thanks a ton for the crash course in Nucs! I am glad I finally found a source for the RISE material. Also, very very good cases during the case review and hit on all the big topics for the CORE exam!
