True Player Ruth Bader Ginsburg Loves ‘Notorious RBG’ Meme[/b][/h1]
“Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg loves the [link=http://notoriousrbg.tumblr.com/]Notorious RBG[/link] T-shirt. She also claims to own a “large supply” of tees adorned with the meme.”
Side note – I took an online “Which Supreme Court Justice are you” quiz. I got Ginsburg. 🙂

I’m thankful her pride is greater than her lack of understanding of the Constitution. Sticking around will cost the “make the Constitution up as we go” liberals another seat.

Wishing Justice Ginsburg A speedy recover from her cardiac stent.

Sounds like a movie that will ride a rocket ship to DVD status.

Hardest I laughed all day.
Great stuff.-

For those envisioning a line of moving vans at the Supreme Court and a new president immediately reordering life at the marble palace, this small splash of cold water: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 83, has already hired the four clerks who will assist her through June 2018.
Above the Law, the legal website that follows the anointing of Supreme Court clerks pretty much the way Variety chronicles casting the latest Steven Spielberg film, reports that several justices, including Ginsburg, have finished the hiring process for the term that begins in October 2017.
That doesnt mean that nothing will change between now and then, or that the next president wont have a dramatic impact on the high court. But as refreshing as it is to see the Supreme Court at the center of the presidential campaign, it is worth remembering that a presidents chance to nominate a justice is one of the least predictable events in American politics.

When she criticized Trump she violated basic ethics for all judges, and should be disbarred and removed.
Jurists and legal experts on both sides of the debate, liberals and conservatives agree on this.-

There is no provision for “disbarrment” of Supreme Court justices. They don’teven have to be attorneys. They have their position for life. End.
(There is the possibility for SCOTUS impeachment which has been tried once and never been successful in all of US history)
Jurists and legal experts on both sides of the debate, liberals and conservatives agree on this.
No they do not. [i]Most[/i] legal experts believe that what Ginsburg said was in bad form and intemperate.
There is absolutely no agreement that her comments should be somehow seen as disqualifying. There was no consensus at all. Only right-leaning pundits and legal experts were calling for her resignation.
And only right wing nut jobs who lack understanding of the Court were calling for her to be “disbarred”.

Justice [link=https://thehill.com/people/ruth-ginsburg]Ruth Bader Ginsburg[/link], the liberal leader of the Supreme Court and a trailblazing champion of womens rights, died on Friday. She was 87 years old.-

Wow. Big loss for America. She was definitely a true leader of her time and it’s a shame her death will likely be politicized. I disagreed with a lot of her comments and rulings but she was true to her beliefs and was a great American woman all girls could look up to.

My money money is on Amy Coney Barrett.
It’ll force the Dems to find some pool boy she ogled or they’ll find ‘proof’ that she fed antifreeze to a cat. They’ll have to find something to derail her confirmation. -

This is the funniest thing I’ve read all day. Thanks for that.-
WOW – get ready for serious political fireworks. I expect widespread riots soon.

I dont know why that’s funny… some things are bigger than politics. Respect those who achieve success even if you dont agree with them. That used to be the beauty of America.

I feel like Biden will change completely from what he said in 2016.
Also…wow the difference between Biden 2016 and in 2020 is jarring.
Joe Biden in 2016: "I would go forward with a confirmation process as chairman, *even a few months before a presidential election,* if the nominee were chosen with the advice, and not merely the consent, of the Senate, just as the Constitution requires.https://t.co/eAdrDigc8S

My points of view must have been in a few others who left this place, that’s amusing I’m now a “reincarnated former poster”.

James Bond baby!
Cubsfan seems like he has his heart trying to be in the right place, no problem with that. I find the mushy stuff about total political hacks amusing though, sorta like the idea that you are supposed to speak well of the deceased at funerals when most people knew the person was a piece of dookie. Having respect for the likes of Ginsburg or McCain and the way both went out is hilarious to me.-
Off the top of my head one of them was a womens right sort of icon. The other one fought in Vietnam. But yeah they were the dregs of society.

Are you really expecting some intelligent posting by a 50 y/o bragging about getting a 22 y/o POA?
The only question to ask is how much $ did he have to pay to get her to yes?
