  • Text to speech for medical books

Posted by deepakav_840 on May 7, 2023 at 9:51 am

Hello everyone, I just bought Kindle Fire, mainly because it has text-to-speech (TTS) feature for Kindle books. The problem is that the Radiology book I want to read does not have TTS enabled. (Apparently the book itself needs to have TTS enabled for us to listen to it, which was surprising to me. I thought that all Kindle books had that). Is there an app I can download to read this book, sitting on my Kindle bookshelf. Please help me out.
    Thanks.

Hey guys, I have figured this out. TTS is working on my Radiology book. With each new generation, certain settings are changed from one location to another, and if you happen to review online instructions/videos from prior generation, you may not be able to find helpful features that easily. I guess that’s what happened with me in this case. I do think TTS does improve learning productivity, and I wished we had it sooner. Thanks.
