Regretful Trump Voters
Posted by btomba_77 on March 25, 2017 at 1:43 pmMrs_dergon commented that the hashtag #trumpregret was floating their office and that there was dedicated Reddit. … so why not /PR?! ( he asks rhetorically)
It might not be as hilarious as “Florida Man”, but I have a feeling we’ll be seeing plenty of “Regretful Trump Voter” stories in the coming months.

So I’ll go first with my story of the day:

When Helen Beristain told her husband she was voting for Donald Trump last year, he warned her that the Republican nominee planned to get rid of the Mexicans.’
Defending her vote, Helen quoted Trump directly, noting that the tough-talking Republican said he would only kick the bad hombres out of the country.
Months later, Roberto a successful businessman, respected member of his Indiana town, the father of three American-born children languishes in a detention facility with hardened criminals as he awaits his deportation back to Mexico, the country he left in 1998 when he entered the United States illegally.

Deleted UserMarch 25, 2017 at 7:21 pmThe rulings on the bans were complete garbage. The law states quite clearly that the president has the authority to wield control over immigration in the manner that Trump did. Trump is no saint or scholar, but it’s obvious that he’s being opposed by a great deal of entrenched rot – on both the “Right” and the “Left.”
-
“Entrenched rot?” He just gave jobs to the entrenched rot and is himself entrenched rot. Ask most New Yorkers who came out in force to show what they thought of his abilities to run a government. They opposed him. It’s the rest of the country who are ignorant of Trump’s bilious rot and failures.

I do have to say Jan, that Trump definitely has improved employment in the short time he’s been in office for some people. Specifically comedians.
Jimmy Kimmel nailed it pretty well with these about Trump:
This fake news thing, this isnt just a strategy. He really doesnt know which news is fake or not. Somebody should make sure he knows Game of Thrones isnt real, so he doesnt start working on a dome to protect us from dragons.
When Donald Trump knows hes in trouble, he immediately fires back. Its kind of like when your wife catches you sexting with another woman, and you go, Well, what were you doing looking at my phone?
Trumps approval rating now is at a new low. Its down to 37 percent. You know, Bill Clinton had to do weird stuff with cigars to get to 37 percent.
This is kind of scary: A man claims that this weekend he snuck past Secret Service at Mar-a-Lago to take a selfie in President Trumps private study. But Trump is denying this, saying theres no way hed ever have a study.

And if there is entrenched rot it sure as hello is better than Russian sympathizers

Cigar/fanged & Jan of the same Russkie-phile mold. “Our” murderous dictator is better because he’s not Muslim.

Take an Ativan, buddy. -
Oh, I thought I was talking about Putin as I clearly stated.
Take the Ativan yourself, “buddy.” -

Deleted UserMarch 26, 2017 at 9:10 amNope. Not clearly stated anywhere. But let’s operate on the basis of your having been referring to Putin – yes, there are varying degrees of badness, and Putin’s Russia has far more long-term interests that align with those of the West than do Middle-Eastern and North-African countries.

Is that what you desire for European domination plus closer ties to the our enemies in the Mideast
That is an insane way to think
It’s just totally dismissing 2 world wars the preservation of the peace thereafter and 75 years work with or allies
You should talk some world war 2 vets
They could teach a few things

But what do you expect from a man who is
3 times divorced
Cheated on all 3 wives
Kids to 3 different women
Filed for bankruptcy multiple times
Had 5 draft deferments when his generation was fighting a war
Basically the man is POS and if you support him you have have no moral authority to preach to anyone

Trump Pressured Disney to Censor Jimmy Kimmel
[link=https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-white-house-pressure-disney-censor-jimmy-kimmel-1234686853/]Rolling Stone[/link]: In early 2018, the American national security apparatus was fixated on reports that North Korea was building nuclear weapons that could reach the U.S. or that Russia was plotting chemical weapons assassinations in Europe. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump was busy targeting his idea of an enemy of the state: late night host Jimmy Kimmel.
The then-president, according to two former Trump administration officials, was so upset by Kimmels comedic jabs that he directed his White House staff to call up one of Disneys top executives in Washington, D.C., to complain and demand action. (ABC, on which Jimmy Kimmel Live! has long aired, is owned by Disney.)
In at least two separate phone calls that occurred around the time Trump was finishing his first year in office, the White House conveyed the severity of his fury with Kimmel to Disney.
