Pediatric radiology fellowship openings for 2021-2022 and 2022-2023
The Nemours/Alfred I duPont Hospital for Children (AIDHC), an affiliate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is currently accepting applications for its ACGME accredited Pediatric Radiology Fellowship for the 2021-2022 and 2022-23 academic years.
Our fellowship program has a unique and flexible curriculum, which allows for focused clinical training tailored to the individual trainee’s needs and career objectives. Additionally, we support and promote supplemental non-interpretive skills training geared toward developing physician leaders, particularly in the areas of management/leadership, safety and quality improvement, research, education, social media, and informatics.
Our pediatric medical imaging department is a sub-specialized academic department which performs large volume “bread-and-butter” pediatric imaging, as well as, numerous advanced imaging techniques. Highlights include:
Body: Fetal MR, MR Urography, MR enterography, post-mortem CT, cardiac, iron quantification
Neuro: Neuroscience and Epilepsy Center, PET MR, Neuro fetal MR, GE-180 tracer imaging and research, functional MRI, neuro-oncology, trauma, head & neck, and abusive head trauma.
Musculoskeletal: Sports and oncologic MR, Level 1 trauma, skeletal dysplasia (internationally renowned), cerebral palsy.
Interventional: Vascular anomalies, transplant, oncologic/Y-90 program, lymphangiography and lymphatic interventions, and dedicated IR clinic.
Our faculty is also actively involved in research, and trainees are encouraged to get involved in one of numerous projects across the department.
Located in Wilmington, Delaware in the beautiful Brandywine valley and approximately 27 miles south of Philadelphia, AIDHC is an approximately 200 bed pediatric quaternary referral hospital and Level 1 trauma center. The hospital has recently completed a major expansion project, which greatly increased its size and makes it one of the most state-of-the-art pediatric facilities in the country.
We offer a compensation package which includes a competitive salary and benefits. In addition, there are optional opportunities for moonlighting. We welcome non-traditional applicants and offer a flexible curriculum and supportive environment. Our goal is to help train and develop future leaders and influencers in the field of pediatric radiology.
