  • POTUS Election 2020

Posted by kayla.meyer_144 on June 26, 2019 at 8:04 am

A bit of a long read but interesting analysis on Trump’s and Democratic lineup for POTUS.

We’ll see starting with tonight’s Democratic debate.

the line of Dems is way too long and should be cut after these two debates.

Warren got night 1 so I think it might set her up to dominate the lowest rung candidates.  I would Ax these people with X

    Night One
    Elizabeth Warren
    Beto ORourke
    Cory Booker
    Amy Klobuchar – X
    John Delaney – X
    Tulsi Gabbard – X
    Julian Castro – X
    Tim Ryan – X
    Bill de Blasio – X
    Jay Inslee – X

    Night 2
    Joe Biden
    [link=https://www.rollingstone.com/t/bernie-sanders/]Bernie Sanders[/link]
    Kamala Harris
    Pete Buttigieg – X
    Kirsten Gillibrand – X
    Michael Bennet – X
    Marianne Williamson – X
    Eric Swalwell – X
    Andrew Yang – X
    John Hickenlooper – X

I’m glad you are not running the debate.

They left people out of the debate that are running. Some of these people are just stage 5 clingers. Get rid of them. Andrew Yang step into my office because you’re fired.

The DNC needs to be more transparent in the primary process after the 2016 debacle that tipped the scales for HRC. The DNC has set minimum requirements for every candidate to meet. The ones left out did not meet the requirements. The requirements for the 2[sup]nd[/sup] debate are doubled. Seth Moulton who was left out entered the race very late, April. He has every chance to meet the threshold for the 2[sup]nd[/sup] debate.

Also your list is problematic you eliminated Mayor Pete who is in the top 7 polling and is statistically by margin of error tied w Kamela Harris who you left in. He is also polling better than Beto and Booker who you put in.

Your list also eliminated some pretty good candidates based on the issues. Rep Tulsi Gabbard has a lot to bring to the election and if not the nominee she could make a good VP. She is an interesting individual w military experience, well spoken, foreign policy experience and her views on the Middle East differ from many and she is a moderate.  Gabbard could be a great nominee for the dems if the media gave her more coverage time. If I was a dem I would want to hear more about her. Sen Klobuchar is also  more moderate and not way left like some of the others. Her problem is not very charismatic like the flipper Sen Harris pretends to be.

While I agree some of the candidates are terrible choices and are not electable  like the New Yorkers and Rep Swallwell they did meet the threshold.

The problem w Gabbard as a VP is she doesn’t bring voters based on  geography being from Hawaii, but knowledge wise she would be great.

As Trump and successful businesses and CEOs prove over and over, quality is often beside the point. I would take every single one of the Democratic list above Trump any day of the week but the question is not of quality but who will turn out the Democratic vote and beat Trump. Millennials like very progressive issues but will they actually turn out even if they get Bernie or one who campaigns on Bernie’s issues? Establishment Dems like the safety of Biden but will other Democratic voters stay home like they did for Hillary?

Trump won less on any issues than he did by Democrats not “being inspired” or Democrats engaging in circular firing squads because they did not get Bernie. so they all “elected” Trump by default.

I and many others who were disgusted by the Democratic delicate snowflakes don’t want to see a redux that elects Trump again. All that stuff about Hillary “stealing” the election from Bernie is pure unadulterated BS. Democrats gave the election away by being snitty.

Snit should not repeat itself in 2020.

If the majority of the country favors
open borders, increased taxes, increased unemployment,
increased food stamp dependence, complete government
takeover of healthcare, energy, education and transportation any of the democratic candidates will do. If you lack the ability to provide and make choices for you and your family vote for any of
the democrats. The democrats are telling you that the government needs to save you from your own ignorance. You are too stupid to have choices and make your own decisions.

Frumi went full retard long ago.

She would take every Dem possible over Trump?

    Contrarian play = gold.

    Thanks for that, Frumi.

Warren has [link=https://ijr.com/warren-decriminalize-illegal-border-crossings-elected-president/]vowed to decriminalize illegal border crossings[/link].

At this point, the vast majority of Democrats require either a dose of haldol decanoate or a jail cell.

Rep Gabbard has a good debate. Most googled candidate. One poll of voters  40% said she won it. Her big negative is her earlier stand on LGBQ.  Next was Warren w 12% who was asked more  questions in the first hour.
Message to Chuck Todd – shut up it is not about you.

Biden said that his first priority as President would
be to defeat Trump. Biden is the gift that just keeps
    giving.

I think the idea is to make it a civil issue because it really should be.  That should be done through meaningful immigration reform not this go home brown people BS we have today.

It’s not our fault that the illegals are virtually all, as you say, “brown people.”

What the Left wants to do is grant them special dispensation particularly *because* of their race.

Of course, they are the true racists.

It’s funny why “brown” people want to go to European civilizations en masse. I wonder why.
