no President of the US would make a joke about spying on the Prime Minister of Germany to the Prime Minister’s face  or before the public–a russian ally might but no US President
No President of the US would let Spicer continue as their press guy after lying about the British Intelligence

it was never denied in the past–and now his Presidency is tanking as he takes away from the poor to award the rich
–they would try to get rid of the Central Park 5 comments if they could–just saw on CNN an ex-representative of Congress( was on Bill Maher with Malcom Nance-the only other white dude on the panel besides Milo) try to sell Spicer’s Manafort’s lie–but Anderson played him all the tapes of interviews from Trump/kids/corey singing praises for Paul Manafort

I agree he’s not a Russian agent.  Dergon’s post sums him up “useful idiot”.  It’s like he’s gone out of his way to make bad decisions and associate himself with people that have Russian connections.  Not to mention he seems to be feeding the Putin agenda and replaces diplomacy with rudeness.  He’s a nice guy though.  Just totally incompetent.

I think you are a pretty good overall guy and person

But do you really think Benghazi was more significant than this

A Russian agent yes admittedly is for dramatic effect but trumps attitude toward NATO and Europe our strongest allies on the planet is disturbing

            – trumps treatment of merkle was embarrassing

            – dragging British intelligence into his lie is insulting to our closest ally

            – totally misunderstanding how NATO is funded is beyond stupid

Basically his policy are to destroy a united Europe is aligned with Russian policies

Now I ask you again do you think this issue is less serious than Benghazi

There are so many presumptions you make that you think other people, who aren’t as deluded as you, take for granted. New flash: They don’t.

                  The Russians aren’t our enemies.
US presidents before Trump were globalist warmongers, yes all of them.
You don’t take Trump seriously but you took Obama seriously? Why don’t you go watch him on the Daily Show again. LOL

The difference between Trump and the above losers are that he isn’t a pawn and he doesn’t care.

That makes you even more mad. You’re a pawn if you think the Clintons, Obamas, Bushes, etc. of the world cared about you, really.

If you were honest, you’d recognize that Trump’s platforms coincide with a lot of what Democrat people have been saying for a few decades now. But you are blinded by hate, as are the Dem leaders. Which proves they don’t care about the people, since they hate DJT so much they won’t work with him to get so many commonly agreed on things done for the people.

Destroying the European Union and NATO is not in our country’s best interests….. No matter what you do or say to delude yourself

                    That’s F’d up

Trump has done nothing to n his first 2 months except campaign……… And lie often about stupid sheet that doesn’t matter

He is not effective as a leader and cannot govern. Even he knows that…. That is why he has rallies …. To scare rural Midwesterners into thinking that Isis and mexixicans are coming to get him

I always wondered why he was good friends with Vince McMahon and know I know….. They both understand how the ignorant think

I don’t think he is a Russian agent, but would not be surprised if there is either a huge debt or grift in the making. Flynn, Ross and Tillerson all have financial reasons to support Russia over traditional allies. Still don’t understand the Sessions link, but there is stench accumulating around him as well

he imho is obstructing an investigation with his actions
and now Flynn will learn the true meaning of being thrown under the bus–National Enquirer has Trump found the Russian spy–it was Flynn–this trash rag imho needs to be boycotted for it’s blatant attempts to make Trump look good

dude–Trump is bought and paid for by the Banks/ Oligarchs–and they got him on the cheap

    Quote from Dr. ****er

    Newsflash: They didn’t and don’t.

It’s too bad, the whole thing is a joke, I am amused by your gnashing of teeth — for another 8 years.

Now on to building the wall, cutting more regulations, tax plan, then bringing back more companies

Dude has done more in 50+ days than Obama did in 8 years with the backdrop of promises, especially

    ba-da-ba-ba-baaaaah

    i’m loving it

Please name them. It is very rich that you accuse this of Trump when in reality everyone you supported for last 30 years truly was the case in point

I base my judgement on trump himself

He is on his third wife

He admitted to cheating multiple times

He does have kids to 3 different women

He did get multiple draft deferments despite being maliciously critical of others who did serve

He admitted to not paying some contractors even when the work was done up to standards

When you have a person with this type of character anything goes

He is just a bad person and he is the type of guy no want with a sense of decency would want to work with

I think everyone knows deep down that the man is a POS

Flynn did something that seems illegal. However, what rule would stop him from making foreign money. He would’ve needed to register that he was working for foreign interest and he failed at that.

Most higher ranking people probably make more money when they retire. They get handed jobs at think tanks etc…

As a General IMHO-he failed this country ,himself- and his son- a General/military officer from this country should never take money from a country like Russia/Turkey–that is beneath selling your soul to the devil and any one with a brain would never appoint him as defense secretary unless u think there is something for u
as Malcolm Nance says in the intelligence world nothing happens by chance–the Trump voters believed a con and sold there country out

That doesn’t answer the question as to what stops him from doing so.  I don’t know of anything that would as long as he complied with applicable rules.  It could just as easily be a retired general advising Australia and making money doing so.

I agree he was a bad choice, that was written all over him.  He didn’t reg as a foreign agent.  He’s a bad dude.

Apparently the Pentagon warned him against receiving foreign payments as he approached retirement.  Guess the immunity deal he wanted probably looks better and better all the time.

        [link=http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/27/politics/michael-flynn-foreign-payments-investigation/]http://www.cnn.com/2017/0…ayments-investigation/[/link]

A key document released Thursday by Cummings showed that Flynn was warned by a Defense Intelligence Agency official in October 2014 that he would need clearance from the agency before he could accept any earnings linked to foreign governments. Flynn was explicitly told in the document that the U.S. Constitution’s emoluments provision prohibits any monetary payments or gifts “from a foreign government unless congressional consent is first obtained.” The letter explained that such “advance approval” would need to come “from the relevant service secretary.”
The committee’s leaders reported earlier this week that they found no evidence that Flynn asked for permission for the payments he received or informed the military that he had accepted them. Army spokeswoman Cynthia O. Smith Thursday also said “we have found no records of LTG(R) Flynn requesting permission from the Army for foreign employment.”

[i]New Republic[/i]: [url=https://newrepublic.com/article/143586/trumps-russian-laundromat-trump-tower-luxury-high-rises-dirty-money-international-crime-syndicate][B]Trumps Russian Laundromat:[/B]How to use Trump Tower and other luxury high-rises to clean dirty money, run an international crime syndicate, and propel a failed real estate developer into the White House.[/url]

The very nature of Trumps businessesall of which are privately held, with few reporting requirementsmakes it difficult to root out the truth about his financial deals. And the world of Russian oligarchs and organized crime, by design, is shadowy and labyrinthine.

But even without an investigation by Congress or a special prosecutor, there is much we already know about the presidents debt to Russia. A review of the public record reveals a clear and disturbing pattern: Trump owes much of his business success, and by extension his presidency, to a flow of highly suspicious money from Russia.

Over the past three decades, at least 13 people with known or alleged links to Russian mobsters or oligarchs have owned, lived in, and even run criminal activities out of Trump Tower and other Trump properties. Many used his apartments and casinos to launder untold millions in dirty money. Some ran a worldwide high-stakes gambling ring out of Trump Towerin a unit directly below one owned by Trump. Others provided Trump with lucrative branding deals that required no investment on his part. Taken together, the flow of money from Russia provided Trump with a crucial infusion of financing that helped rescue his empire from ruin, burnish his image, and launch his career in television and politics.

It’s not his only ties to the mob.  I rember a David Cay Johnston interview in which he spoke about AC Casino and his involvement with organized crime members.  A quick google search turned up this info from politico.  It’s a good chronicling of his intermingling with mobsters.

The trial, which would have come in the form of a congressional hearing, was scheduled for mid-June 2016 by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), a long-standing [link=http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/russia]Russia[/link] ally who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe. During the hearing, Rohrabacher had planned to confront Browder with a feature-length pro-Kremlin propaganda movie that viciously attacks himas well as at least two witnesses linked to the Russian authorities, including lawyer [link=http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/natalia-veselnitskaya]Natalia Veselnitskaya[/link].
Ultimately, the hearing was canceled when senior [link=http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/republican-party]Republicans[/link] intervened and agreed to allow a hearing on Russia at the full committee level with a Moscow-sympathetic witness, according to multiple congressional aides.

The vote count seemed overwhelming from congress for him not to eat it and sign. In the Senate only Bernie and Rand voted no and for seemingly BS reaons. Bernie thinks it weakens the Iran deal. Iran is a bad actor and deserve sanctions. Rand only thinks we should sanction the DPRK. Which makes me wonder what he’s smoking.

Very interesting article that sounds only too true. The crumbs to the Russians were designed to be discovered, the plan by the Russians in the 1st place.

        [link=https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/28/opinion/the-russians-were-involved-but-it-wasnt-about-collusion.html]https://www.nytimes.com/2…t-about-collusion.html[/link]

For all his talk of desiring friendly relations, Mr. Putin favors a state of animosity between our two nations. By characterizing the United States and NATO as Russias enemies, he can attack within his own borders what threatens him the most the ideals of liberty, freedom and democracy, of which the United States has been a defender.

This background is necessary for understanding the real meaning of the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower between Kremlin-connected Russians and three representatives of Donald Trumps campaign: his son, Donald Trump Jr., his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort, then the campaign manager. The evidence that has emerged from this meeting strongly suggests that this was not an effort to establish a secure back channel for collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign but an influence operation with one simple objective: to undermine the presidential election.

the clearest evidence that this was a Russian influence operation is the trail of bread crumbs the Kremlin seemed to have deliberately left leading from Trump Tower to the Kremlin. This operation was meant to be discovered.

Sophisticated Russian intelligence tradecraft that was meant to be kept secret would not have permitted such an insecure opening gambit for establishing continuing communication with the Trump campaign. They would not have used something as insecure as email, or relied on liaison cutouts who could so easily be traced to the Kremlin.

I cant say how news of the meeting broke, but once it did, Mr. Putin achieved one of his goals: throwing the American government into greater turmoil amid the frenzied media coverage, escalating F.B.I. and congressional investigations and intensified political conflict. And with the revelation that Russia was behind the meddling, Mr. Putin achieved another objective: to allow Russia, despite its economic and military inferiority, to claim that it could rival the United States on the global playing field. He could do all this while denying, with a wink and a nod, any involvement.

[b]Second dossier being reviewed by the FBI[/b]

The FBI has a second memo that independently set out some of the same allegations made in a dossier by British former spy Christopher Steele, the [link=https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jan/30/trump-russia-collusion-fbi-cody-shearer-memo]Guardian[/link] reports.

The second memo was written by Cody Shearer, a controversial political activist and former journalist who was close to the Clinton White House in the 1990s. Unlike Steele, Shearer does not have a background in espionage, and his memo was initially viewed with skepticism, not least because he had shared it with select media organizations before the election.

This gets better by the day. The Clinton camp basically had a group inside of the FBI to create an investigation of their opponent. They just fed them the ‘facts’ as needed.

Yeah, the same FBI that declared another email investigation after “discovering important new information” about Hillary’s emails 1 week before the election. It was a cover ruse to fool the public to think the FBI was against a Clinton Presidency.

This was the vote on Russian Sanctions:

        House: 419-3
        Senate: 98-2

Today, Trump said he won’t impose the sanctions despite a veto-proof majority.

Congratulations, America. Laws are meaningless now.[b][/b][i][/i][u][/u][strike][/strike]

You have perfect examples of Crimea and Ukraine and Georgia for examples of how Russians interfere with information to skew things in their favor through disinformation. Crimea was successful, Ukraine, so far is not.

So Russia is involved with hacking and stealing information & selectively releasing it via friendly platforms like WikiLeaks. Or using Facebook and Google and bots to bring the stories and propaganda to the top of lists and people’s searches, etc.

      [link=https://wtop.com/j-j-green-national/2017/09/anatomy-russian-attack-first-signs/slide/1/]https://wtop.com/j-j-gree…k-first-signs/slide/1/[/link]

In April 2014, former FBI special agent Clint Watts and two colleagues noticed a bizarre petition on the Whitehouse.gov website.

Alaska back to Russia appeared as a public campaign to give Americas largest state back to the nation from which it was purchased, Watts said during testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on March 30, 2017.
Watts told the committee that upon closer examination he, Andrew Weisburd and J.M. Berger observed a strange occurrence.

The petition had gained more than 39,000 signatures in a very short period of time, Watts said.

Watts, currently a senior fellow at the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security at George Washington University and a Foreign Policy Research Institute fellow, said he and his team detected something even more peculiar.

Our examination of those signing and posting on this petition revealed an odd pattern. The accounts varied considerably from other petitions and appeared to be the work of bots.

Their investigation into the accounts associated with the petition revealed that the bots were directly related to other social media campaigns and networks that had been aggressively promoting Russian propaganda in previous months.

Closely circling those hackers were honey pot accounts, attractive looking women and political partisans trying to social engineer other users, Watts said. Above all we observed hecklers those synchronized trolling accounts you see on Twitter that would attack political targets using similar talking patterns and points.

In 2015, U.S. intelligence agencies began to notice that bots like those Watts described had selected some very specific targets the U.S. elections system and individuals and organizations associated with it.

According to U.S. intelligence sources, the activity intensified as time passed and there was little doubt that it was a Russian intelligence-linked operation that reached to the very top of the Russian government.

The hashtags promoted by the bots, according to Watts, were nuclear, media, Trump and Benghazi.
The most common words, he said found in English speaking Twitter user profiles were God, military Trump, family, country, conservative, Christian, America and constitution.

According to Watts, similar Russian-driven fake news operations were organized around the Jade Helm exercise, Black Lives Matter protests and the Bundy Ranch standoff in Oregon.

Duping U.S. social media consumers into believing fake news stories emboldened those running Russias active measures campaign to more aggressively seek to influence voters decisions in the 2016 presidential election, according to intelligence sources who spoke with WTOP.

It is a very, very [sic] persuasive demonstration of the fact that the Russians interfered in our election process, with the purpose of helping one of the two candidates, said Robert Litt, former General Counsel of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, in an interview with WTOP on Sept. 13, 2017.

They have an extremely capable intelligence service with exceptional cyber capabilities that they have repeated demonstrated, not only against the United States, but against Estonia and Georgia.

A Russian lawyer who met with President [link=https://www.bloomberg.com/billionaires/id/1252249]Donald Trump[/link]s oldest son last year says he indicated that a law targeting Russia could be re-examined if his father won the election and asked her for written evidence that illegal proceeds went to Hillary Clintons campaign.

Veselnitskaya said she went to the New York meeting to show Trump campaign officials that major Democratic donors had evaded U.S. taxes and to lobby against the so-called [link=https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/Programs/Documents/pl112_208.pdf]Magnitsky law[/link] that punishes Russian officials for the murder of a Russian tax accountant who accused the Kremlin of corruption.

Looking ahead, if we come to power, we can return to this issue and think what to do about it, Trump Jr. said of the 2012 law, she recalled. I understand our side may have messed up, but itll take a long time to get to the bottom of it, he added, according to her.

Veselnitskaya also said Trump Jr. requested financial documents showing that money that allegedly evaded U.S. taxes had gone to Clintons campaign. She didnt have any and described the 20-minute meeting as a failure.

The thing that I don’t get is he basically opened himself to all this Russian stuff. Well they admitted to the meeting and now the rusky wants to testify. She could very well just lie her butt off to Congress also. So this is totally their own doing. Bad moves by team Trump
