  • Neuro CAQ

Posted by Jkdxray on October 17, 2018 at 10:25 am

I am taking the neuro CAQ next week. Just reviewing the CRS questions. How difficult is the exam, especially if you have been practicing mostly general radiology for more than a year out of fellowship?

Taking exam next week too but haven’t done much prep for it other than going through some of the case review books. Any advice would be helpful, especially from people who took it last year.

the case review series or neuroradiology cases books are both good and sufficient in my opinion.

as commented on prior thread, this is a point of confusion, i thought technically to sit for neurocaq you had to both do a neuro fellowship and have a certain % of practice be dedicated neuro.

granted, there are likely ways around requirement.

Technically you have to practice as much neuro as your group president will sign off on (30%).

While I’m still in my fellowship so won’t be able to take the CAQ for another year, I discovered this website and it looked like a useful reference for studying/prepping for the CAW. Hope it helps those taking it soon:
