I’ve always packed money away from pay check into the employer 403B.  Around 2007-2008 is when I started doing better here financially.  Still lived at home and I was saving money to get a house.  Blamo the market tanks because of bad mortgages.  Hard as all hell for me to get a bank loan to buy anything.  So I ended up putting money into the market.  I sprinkled into a few names.  Apple, AMD, Sirius XM, Nvidia, Cisco, Lincoln Electric, Lubrizol, Anheuser Busch, Rockwell Automation, AirCastle.  The best thing that ever could’ve happened is not being able to get a mortgage.

If you got in NVIDIA back then it was just a little video game stock.

      Thats a good buy

was it 1-2 bucks back then

I have been watching for a while took a plunge back in march.  Its not something I normally do as I tend to be a bargain hunter for cheap beaten down stocks but I learned my Lesson after watching Amazon go from 50-3500$

I still stick to my basic strategy but experience has changed me a little.  This AI is for real and NVIDIA is worth a risk

I got in the $2-$3 range. But at the time my thought process was like I think this is a bargain and a good company. intel is like $15. So why not grab some Nvidia. More shares for the $. AMD was the same way. My plan has always been buy and hold till its time to retire.
