  ISMRM: Radiologists, technologists key to high-value MRI

  [u]”MY ONGOING HELP AND RESEARCH IN RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY[/u],”-[u] RICARDO A SCOTT, R.T(ARRT), C.S.R.T, PBT,  M.S.R, B.A, J.D.[/u]
  In my ongoing work over the  past 53+years in Radiologic Technology, and in several countries I have seen where there is an urgent and yet malignant need for Radiologic Technologists to work in such a way that the true needs of the patients will be met.I am here to help advance the profession in helping others. I can show evidentiary works of how much medical doctors depend on our knowledge, expertise and skills.
  Too often the input of Radiologic Technologists is overshadowed and silenced by systems which in some way prevents the full cooperation of those technologists who can help the radiologists and patients to become more accurate diagnosticians.
  Now, today they have introduced-AI- into healthcare which I see will in many ways create situations having deleterious effects in healthcare.
  Let me say this most undeniable fact-[u]AI- HAS NO MORAL CHARACTER[/u]!
  Medical science has now reached a point in its quest where it will eventually hurt itself by casting aside the -[u]HUMAN FEELING AND FACTOR WHICH MUST BE INCLUDED IN DELIVERING EFFECTIVE AND HEALING HEALTHCARE.
  [/u]
  I know that over the years I have helped many ER doctors, Nurses, Medical students, and other practitioners to provide care to patients in ways which has protected them from being liable in court from medical malpractice.
  I have written: [u]THE ALLIED HEALTH PRACTITIONERS GUIDE TO LEGAL PRINCIPLES.[/u]
  I have also written several articles and essays on- “[u]TECHWISE[/u]”:[u]-ETHICAL, MORAL, MEDICO-LEGAL ISSUES, X-RAY TECHNOLOGISTS RISK MANAGEMENT[/u].
  I have introduced many innovative and creative works to getting several procedures in trauma radiography which pose immense hardships to those who may be less able and inexperienced.
  My compendium of works in Radiologic Technology, soon to be released-[u]DIAGNOSTIC DISCUSSI[/u]ONS-book will give much insight and direction to those who need help in x-ray technology.
