FINAO Data Center
Has anyone heard about the FINAO disaster in the Alabama/Miss/TN/Ga region? This all started back in April and apparently there was a fire in the data center and not much of a back up plan for all of the radiology groups they are responsible for.[u][/u][u][/u]
From what I understand, they are a 3rd party reseller of Intelerad, and maintain the servers and HL7 connections to all of the facilities that all of their customers (several large rad groups) are responsible for.[u][/u][u][/u]
In reading through their daily description of how they are fixing things, it sounds like they are building, ad hoc, what should have been in place to start with. From what I know, the doctors are still suffering and scrambling to read under multiple local systems etc…[u][/u][u][/u]
