why is he still allowed to have a gun??
why has a mental evaluation of him to be cleared to carry a weapon not been done??
I wonder what that first juror feels like now when she was kinda imho as long as Georgie doesn’t go too far. I hope all black children if they see him walk in the opposite direction and call 911 to at least get your side of the story on recordQuote from kpack123

I definitely will turn the channel on any show that has commentary from O’MARA(zimmerman’s attorney). It will be my own little quiet protest

-
I don’t care who he supported
something is not right….
again, I am sure all black parents in Florida are telling their child if you see him go in the opposite direction and call 911 so at some point their is a record of what you are concern about
as for O’Mara showing up at the wife’s family house..makes me wonder of his concern about the lawsuit that he is pursuing but again I will do my own quiet protest and turn the channel if he is on . Seeing The Butler, reminded me of all the stories my mom told me of how much hatred mankind can project on their fellow man based just on the color of their skin -

Pointless, again
facts are all we ever posted. In California, the state would pursue domestic abuse charges. Mr. Zimmerman’s record and behavior are facts.. It is what it is.. but to me it highlights how one person can get a pass and others who actually may be right are thrown under the bus consistently
Aldi, & Point get over it..2008/2012 elections are the past .. I just hope Congress can do their job and see beyond just Obama..and see what a stalling tactic Russia may be presenting.

“When police arrived she could be heard on the phone saying, “Dad, get behind a car or something. I don’t know if he’s going to start shooting at us or not.”[link=http://news.yahoo.com/US/george-zimmermans-wife-selfish-feels-invincible/story?id=20174763]George Zimmerman Feels ‘Invincible,’ His Wife Tells ABC News[/link]The incident came just days after Shellie Zimmerman told ABC News that she was not sure she “ever really knew” her husband through their seven years of marriage and she felt she was the victim of verbal abuse by him. She also said she believed the not guilty verdict left her husband feeling “invincible” and since then he had been “making some reckless decisions.”-

Yep, a real law abiding model American alright.
Pretty defiant for a guy trying to stay off the public grid.-
He is an idiot, allways has been. This is the US, as a man, the moment your wife or girlfriend wants out, you have to cut off all contact so you dont end up in the back of a cruiser. Put whatever is hers into a storage unit, change the locks on your house/apartment, mail her a check for 2 months rent along with the storage keys and a no trespass notice. That is what my former secretaries husband did, kept him out of all entanglements.

There wasn’t a gun. I know it is hard to believe but sometimes the ex, in a divorce situation, makes $hit up.

“Domestic violence can’t be invoked because she has changed her story and says she didn’t see a firearm,” Bracknell said.
The dispute “was between him and his wife and her father,” Morgan said. “There were some allegations that there had been an assault, but we could not confirm any of it.”
[link=http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/09/george-zimmerman-gun-incident-florida-trayvon-martin/2788443/]http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/09/george-zimmerman-gun-incident-florida-trayvon-martin/2788443/[/link]

Sometimes they do but too often the man is guilty of assault. And Zimmerman has a history, not his wife.
So you can say she is using this history against him but for what purpose? To get his fortune? Make divorce easier? Divorce is not as hard these days so making up lies of assault is hardly necessary. -
So what we have is that he was never ‘back in jail’ and the police couldn’t confirm any part of the alledged incident.
Soon to be ex-wife making up stuff. Nothing to see here. -
His own attorney contradicted the so called police search that did not find a weapon on him and they conveniently did not search the car BUT O’MARA says he had a gun and the wife in the tape says he is in the car with a gunQuote from fw

Quote from Noah’sArk
why is he still allowed to have a gun??
He’s allowed to have a gun simply because he has not been found guilty of any violent crime in a court of law. This is now his THIRD arrest for domestic violence, right up there next to two arrests for committing assault, one being battery on a police officer, with witnesses, and yet charges repeatedly were dismissed. The wimps keep letting him off, I’m guessing due to his daddy’s influence. That kind of repeat offender will eventually get his just desserts, but I fear it won’t be the result of due process. Rather, ironically, it will be the result of the same kind of vigilanteism that I believe Zimmerman, himself, committed when he fatally shot a minor earlier this year.

I mean at least have on record that a mental status check has been done..

that’s why we hope the judicial system works
but to allow Zimmerman to continue packing heat when he has a prior domestic incident which led to a restraining order, kills an unamred teenager and now with the wife incident

Do you mean/assert that you can post a crime per day describing a group of whites hurting a black person for being black?
when was the picture you posted taken?-
when was Trey murdered while walking home without a gun by a person who has a pattern of a certain degree of agressivenes, is not arrested by the police that night but goes home with his gun , gets acquitted and is still having problems with the law
but I believe my point is that posting a crime per day by anyone is not going to help when we allow one injustice to slip thru the cracks

You guys need to actually read that article. “Officers detained George Zimmerman but never arrested him, police said. Detectives later came to the home to interview him” Do you suppose he was driven to jail, then driven back to the house so that they could question him? More than likely he was put in the back seat of a cruiser while the police talked to his wife and her father. Nor was he arrested, this time anyway. Had he actually assaulted them, he should have been.
He offered to give the police the tapes from the surveillance cameras on the house. Do you suppose he would do that if it would show him walking around like Clint Eastwood with his hand on his piece? Of course maybe he knows how to stay out of the field of view of those cameras too.
All that said, knowing that his soon to be ex-wife was coming to the house, and showing up there with his brother, he was obviously looking for/expecting a confrontation.-

They both involve circumstances where the President should not be getting personally involved or attempting to sway public opinion. Unfortunately, he insinuated himself into the Travon case. Let’s see if he stay objective and keep his foot out of his mouth on this one.-

Most of us are just sick and tired of the double standard. Mikie,
You are the one making the direct comparison of Trayvon and Aaron Alexis and you have yet to explain why you did. At the time Obama spoke about Trayvon, there were a lot of folks in the black community looking to him to make some sort of statement. Perhaps you can’t understand that. Unfortuantely now the right simply wants to jump on him when he comments and when he doesn’t.
Perhpas you can provide a list to Obama on which social issues and events he can and cannot comment on.
BTW he has spoken as President in Chicago about the violence there and the balck on black crime and breakdown of the family units there. They don’t cover that on FauxNews though-
I heard that on fox news. I also heard someone on there going on and on about how he speaks to black fathers about responsibility and caring for their children. Do you watch Fox news? If not, how do you know?
The problem has as much to do as his speaking before knowing any facts.
“the officers acted stupidly”
classic example.
You would think that he would have said something about the Oklahoma event after the prime minister of Australia came out and commented, but nothing. He jumped all over treyvon martin, and the “stupidly acting officers” but not a word about that. I find it difficult to believe that an educated man/woman could not see the problem this might cause by how it appears.
Maybe you really dont’ understand it, but I think if it were a republican and you were not invested in ideology you would see it.
I could be wrong, you might be so disconnected and caught up in making it about race that you simply don’t want to concede that someone else might have a point.-

MSNBC admits no such thing. They only acknowledged they don’t do “breaking news” that well, meaning they only report it after the fact but not while the story is happening. There is nothing in your citation that says “they don’t report the news” as if to imply that, like Faux News, they just make stuff up and call it news.
So if you read that story, you read it wrong.

kpack,
I very clearly was talking to Thor..you can see that in the “in reply to” at the top of my post.
I was very clearly talking about Obama ( you can tell by the fact that I continue to refer to him as “he” when describing his jumping in before knowing the facts).
I am not sure of your education level, but a fifth grader can see that I am talking about Obama.
I have no clue what you are talking about in your post back to me. I do love how, though, when it is pointed out that you were mistaken, instead of taking the high road and either admitting it, apologizing or dropping it you double down and ratchet up the insults.
Again, even a fifth grader could follow along.
So let me get this straight..
I replied to Thor (as is posted)
you jumped all over me after misinterpreting my post (that was about Obama)
then doubled down on it when shown you had been mistaken and you think that I am passive aggressive?
Whatever dude. You have lost all credibility with me. As a test, I showed my post to my ten yr old and she said I was answering Thor.
She is in fifth grade.

And will you be as graceful in acknowledging that MSNBC did not ”admit they don’t report the news” but rather the article simply stated that they do not report “breaking” news and that there was no indication that they present anything but the facts and opinions (not portrayed as facts). Buying into the ”pomp of punditry” does not mean presenting opinion as fact in quite the same way as Faux does. Just ask Megyn Kelly about Morris and Hannity. Rather MSNBC is simply saying they’ve become more editorial and less investigative. But that article says nothing about the veracity of what they present. It only says MSNBC “news” isn’t “new”.
Right?PS: Having said that, in the spirit of disclosure, I never watch MSNBC. I’m only evaluating what was presented in your citation.

I gotta apologise to Lu’. He/she/it didn’t make the icon crack, kkrack000 did. So very sorry, prostrating myself and everything.
Georgie is no icon to anyone, and it is nothing more than your own racism against white conservatives that drives all the stupid liberal comments on the topic. Blacks can do no wrong, whites can do no right. Lu’s bestest friend in the whole world “Tray” was an angel who sang in the church chior and in his spare time from not pursuing his PhD in Physics so he could join Dr. Frumious in the PACS business delivered hot meals to the elderly and breast-fed AIDS babies at the local charity hospital. OOOOPs,sorry, wrong. He was a wannabe gangsta thug, who happened to be black. Get over it.
This aint Birmingham and Im no Bull Connor. Nobody is cheering over the death of Lu’s bestest friend in the whole world “Tray”, and I really dont give much of a rip about Georgie except for the fact that I was upset about you commies crucifying him for defending himself againt a little thug. Whole thing never should have happened, but it did.
The fact that you commies call people racist who don’t as a knee-jerk response ignore any bad thing a black person does says a whole lot more about YOU than about me, or black or white people for that matter.
How do you know I’M not black!!/?? Because YOU are all a bunch of racists. You etch these things in your head and the truth won’t change anything. -
That is right, kpack…to show a post to a ten yr old, who was asking why I was laughing so much, and asking her “can you tell who this was responding to?” is ‘downright creepy’
Hahahaha! Thanks again!

Thanks for answering your own question. He kicked her out of her own home and locked himself inside and barricaded the door with furniture. She called 911.
When law enforcement arrived, he did not open the door for them. They used her key and pushed the door open (Zim did not remove the furniture from blocking the entrance). They arrested him and he was charged with yet another felony count of aggravated assault (pointing the gun at her) and domestic violence battery (pushing her out of her own home), and also criminal mischief (breaking her furniture). He’s currently locked up in Seminole Country jail without bail.

My concern is that the girl may withdraw the charges. She was the mistress when he cheated on his wife a few years ago (and now she’s still only 26). She already knows too well what kind of guy he is and the fact that she’s still hanging with him may be an indication of how messed up she is, and I won’t be surprised if she’s just keeping him in jail for a day to “punish” him, but then she’ll cave and let him out.

Once again, no firearm was recovered at the scene. Then something comes out about a reporter having the whole story before the cops are even out of the driveway.
Then there is this thing about an interview that the girl was going to do with her mother but the offer didn’t come thru. Oh and did you hear that she is actually not pregnant?
I think you will hear a lot more about this one. -
given my training in psychiatry, I don’t see a good outcome here ….unless immediate intervention is done…just my HO..did you see the wife’s interview
it is very sad…a teenager is dead who just went out to buy some candy and an Arizona tea..and a trial was held that IMHO will need analysis…given post juror comments

which inner belief do I have that you think you are aware of?
His ex wife recanted her ‘story’ and admitted she never saw a weapon.
This g/f admitted to police that she was not, in fact, pregnant.
She told someone in an interview that she came across george sleeping with an empty bottle of sleeping pills next to him and she had thought he overdosed so she sat there and watched him breathe.
My inner belief that something here stinks? Is that the one you are questioning?
You see a guy that is being accused of stuff but repeatedly getting out of it and think it is some sort of conspiracy?
I see a guy that is being accused of stuff but repeatedly getting out of it as there is not enough evidence to prove it.
You want to believe he is guilty of everything without proof, I want people to be proven guilty before they are convicted.
You never know when it might be you…look up some of the videos on youtube about over the top cops, cases of mistaken identity, there are web pages dedicated to this and there is no lacking for material.
I don’t know if he did this or not, I don’t know him and really don’t care, but when we find out right at the get go the g/f lied, was shunned for her interview she had wanted, they did not recover a weapon… my “belief” is that there needs to be more investigation.
George Zimmerman arrested on aggravated assault charge
Florida authorities say George Zimmerman has been arrested on an aggravated assault charge.
The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office says the 31-year-old Zimmerman was arrested in Lake Mary about 10 p.m. Friday and is being held at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility. The facility’s website says Zimmerman is scheduled for a court appearance at 9 a.m. Saturday.
No further details were released. A message seeking further information was left Saturday morning by The Associated Press with Seminole County Sheriff officials.-
